The Happy Hour really is not all that great. The waiter offered 10% off pupus (at $10.00 each = $1.00 off), which were just okay - we ordered the onion rings. We did have dinner, which was good. Since we were there close to the holidays, they were pretty much out of everything. What we did order was very good. I had the chicken, my son, husband and father-in-law had the strip steaks which they said was very good and cooked just right. The service was outstanding and very friendly. I would return to try them again, when they have more menu items available.

Actually drove 20 minutes from the Waikoloa area to have Christmas Eve dinner here. It was 7pm and the place was deserted with only 1 other table occupied and another party showed up a few minutes later...I think they had an earlier crowd? Ambience was rustic Paniolo (cowboy) style. Service was friendly and efficient. Ordered the Prime Rib (Medium Rare) and it was cooked correctly (See Picture). The quality of the beef (local/grass fed) was excellent...very tender... the sides and appetizer were forgettable and they "ran out of deserts". In any case, I enjoyed my meal. It was simple and offered a good honest home cooked meal. If you are visiting the Big Island, do stop by... if for nothing else, come for the history. The Parker Ranch has been around for over a 100 years and is considered one of the largest in the US. Richard Smart, the last descendent of the Parker family, left his entire estate in a trust that supports this community here in Waimea and the island of Hawaii...

Had drinks at the Parker Ranch Broiler twice. Very good bloody marys but I think the price was a little on the High side. $7.00 for an afternoon drink is a bit much. The bartender was nice both times and it was a great stop between Hilo and Kona. It is in a shopping center so shopping is all around you.

Went for lunch with the family. Food was OK, portions quite generous. They did not overcook the steaks which were reasonably tender. Service on that day (Saturday) was good.

Got history. Food is not bad but nothing to rave about. After less than a month can't even remember what I ate.
