“Great Jam!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2013

If you love jam, then you must stop by Mr. Ed's Bakery. A cute place with local treats. He has over 100 types of jams and jellies that he makes handmade and you can taste the difference. Our favorites are passion-orange-guava and Lilikoi.

“Jam heaven!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2013

We stopped at the only other café (Shark Café, which had delicious salads) in town for a delicious lunch, but stepped in here for dessert. The cinnamon roll was HUGE (filled the plate), and they went and fetched a freshly baked one rather than the one in the case. We also had a liliko'i (passion fruit) turnover, which was delectable.

Other kid had a nice shave ice (and watched the lizards on the wall outside while he ate it), and hubs picked up some incredible jam. As a jam-maker, I was in heaven with all the jars, and they've inspired me to try some new flavors.

“A must stop after visiting Akaka Falls!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 20, 2012

We stopeed here after checking out Akaka falls and we loved it! We had a cinnamon roll and a breakfast biscuit sandwich. All homemade! The place was full of homemade canning of every flavor. You can sample each item and my husband loved everyone he tried. This is a wonderful family business run with pride and hard work. I would go back in a heatbeat, but since I'm far away I will have to have them ship their goodies to us!
