I know that they have a full menu but we only came for the Malasadas. We came around 4:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. There was a handful of other customers an the employees were making fresh Malasadas. We were at the counter to order for a good 5 minutes before anyone made eye contact with us (but one gal helped two cars at the drive through). Finally they took our order. They were out of most fillings so we got plain and Bavarian Creme. They were Delish. We say outside an enjoyed them. Not recommended for the car as they are very messy. Luckily there are plenty of tables outside to eat.

This is such an odd sort of restaraunt but defintely stop here on your way around the island. It's heading south on the highway towards Hilo on the left. You are near the waterfalls/rain forest attractions. Order the malasada's no matter what else you order!!! They are amazing!! I loved the raspberry filled, but they have like 8 flavors including just plain. These are delicious! Breakfast or dessert!

OH BOY, words cannot describes these DELICIOUS treats. Malasadas are Portuguese pastries that can come with fruit filling. MMM MMM you can watch them being made as your taste glans make you wait. I'd personally order THREE, each one a different flavor. My favorite are mango, banana & pineapple. Hey & while your at it, take bite of each alternating flavors, THAT'S going be it! I guarantee EVERY time you drive near Tex's Malasadas, your gonna have to stop in. mmm mmm mmm. One thing to remember, when you take some w/you-TRY not to eat 'n drive, your eyes will be closed 'cuz your going mmm mmm mmm. 10 outta 10!!

Pretty much a greasy spoon. If you like cream filled donuts; they are delicious. Like Beignets the things they make are warm and just out of the oven. I only had breakfast so I can't say about some of the other interesting things on the menu.
