We had a "mixture" of age groups - toddlers, young children, teenagers and us adults. So, we weren't sure how well everyone was going to do on this 3 hour tour. Everyone had a blast! We saw many whales...the boat is only allowed to get a certain distance to them, so none of the whales were right near the boat. But it was such a spectacular thing to see, noone minded! We had two different instances when we had chance to watch the "dolphin show". I swear, it seemed like the more the kids clapped and cheered, the more the dolphins jumped out of the water and provided us with a show. The spinners were so much fun to watch. These dolphins didn't seem afraid of us, in fact they were swimming up to the boat. What a cool thing for al the kids (and adults). So, bottom line, 3 hours was great for everyone, we enjoyed the sun, had a blast looking for the whales, and watching the dolphins. Fyi - we were a bit leary based on some other reviews regarding getting sea sick. None of us did (we had 16 people in our party). Some of our group wore the wrist bands, most did not. Only one person (my hubby) got a little queazy...he always gets sea sick, so only to be a little upset in his stomach was good. My advice - with cameras, bring the longest mm camera attachment you have! So that you can "capture" the moments when you spot the whales from a distance. I'd absolutely go on this trip again!
