Our shore excursion on a cruise took us here and it remains one of our favorite memories of our honeymoon. Such a beautiful place. We went fairly early in the morning and there was still fog over much of the garden, but in some ways, it just made it more beautiful. I'd say this si something you should not miss if you visit Hilo.

this place is as beautiful as it is peaceful. You can walk through the gardens all day and never cross the same area twice. It is beautifully landscaped, and named for the last queen of the islands.

Nice little park on the ocean. Lots of families on Saturday. Quiet pool for young children. There is also a bridge out to a little island which also had a quiet beach area. Some nice Japanese bridges and a koi pond (which needed some work

Beautiful gardens with lots of shade and exploring fun. Lots of seating throughout the park, restrooms. Relaxing. Interesting ponds and structures. It's FREE.

These gardens are very serene. You'll find koi ponds, bridges to walk over, and beautiful flowers. There is a lot of shade and the sound of the ocean is magnificent. There were a few people and people with kids but everyone was very respectful and it was very serene and tranquil. The bathroom facilities are clean and tidy. The paths are wheelchair accessible albeit a bit narrow.
