Jill is a native of Hawaii and was incredibly knowledgeable! She answered every question we had. She showed us multiple stops in our short time, each one a treasure. We felt like we got more than our money's worth with Mauka Makai Adventures and recommend them to anyone wanting to learn about Hawaii and its rich culture. Excellent tour and tour guide Jill. We were in a small van and toured all around the Kona area with stops a Kona coffee farm, Kealakekua Bay Pu'uhonua National Park, the Painted Church and Donkey Balls chocolates. A good morning!

My husband and I had an awesome day with Josh and several others, that we did not know, from our cruise ship. He took us all around Hilo and showed us sights the larger groups couldn’t see or access. The time spent spelunking and at the lava field was a definite highlight! Josh was extremely knowledgeable and personable and made the day one of our favorites. I don’t normally write reviews, but I just can’t say enough about the wonderful day we had. I highly recommend booking Mauka Makai for your Hilo or Kona adventures.
