It's a typical diner setting Anytown, USA. Nothing fancy, but did notice the exceptionally comfortable chairs. This is important because most places intentionally give you uncomfortable seating in an effort to move you along. Staff was a little cold on arrival, but like most people on this planet, if you're friendly, they'll be friendly in return.

Food was pretty good all around the table. Would definitely eat here again.

It is a house of pancakes, and much more. Their omelets are huge and tasty, everything looks delicious. Get your fish just the way you want it...Ono Grinds!

Loved the all American diner feel and the restaurant & car park were super busy but food (I had cornbeef hash, scrambled eggs, rice and whole meal toast) was average - I wouldn't rush back.

Our waitress was friendly though and even though it was full we didn't feel like we had to wait long I be served and the acoustics were good - you could hear yourself talk without shouting.

We were staying on the Kohala coast and having a real problem finding good food for the whole family. My son has two kids who can be very picky eaters and he found Ken's online. We drove two hours to the other side of the island and the trip was well worth it. The banana macadamia nut waffles were a huge hit with both of the kids. The homemade corned beef hash was also fabulous. I definitely recommend Ken's for breakfast and my grand kids both give it two thumbs up!

This local's favorite diner is a cool, fun, eclectic place to go for pancakes (or practically anything else on the 100+ item menu) 24 hours a day! The coconut pancakes are delicious, with 4 different home-made syrups (the passion fruit is great)! Service has a lot to be desired, though...
