Steps away from the Farmers' Market, Pineapples is in a great location to enjoy a meal in a nice atmosphere with friendly staff and a good variety available from the menu to choose from. The veggie tacos and the Maui onion soup were the stand out dishes from what we ordered. We were looking forward to trying their pineapple-upside-down cake (after all, their name is Pineapples -- it should be good!) - but unfortunately the last slice was ordered right before we requested it. We were told it's made daily, so to check back early the next day. Since we had made a day trip over to Hilo from Pauko we weren't able to do that. Perhaps next time!
