Chanced on this place (the one at 301 Keawe St) passing through Hilo and was delighted. Fantastic, fresh and healthy Mexican food. Such great value too. Good vegetarian options. Friendly service. Loved it so much that we went back When we passed through on our way home.

Really great burrito. They make the burrito exactly to your specifications. Lots of delicious options they offer to put on for you. The owners and staff are very friendly.

Service was a little slow because there was only one lady working and several people arrived before us but she was very friendly and made sure we got all the burrito fillings/toppings that we wanted. Everything was vegeterian (except the meat of course) which was nice because some places put pork or chicken in rice and beans. This place is small with only a few seats inside but we were looking to grab some food and go so it worked out well.

We have been customers of both the Hilo restuarant as well as the stand at Pohoiki and have always remarked at how friendly the owners are. They make excellent, healthy food accommodating any request. We highly recommend Bueno Burrito!

This is an island style Mexican fastfood joint. They are set up like a sandwich shop....you choose your choice of fresh toppings on your borito/taco besides various other entry.

Try the fish taco if you are into eating fish.
