Great park, nice parking. Clean facilities.
And of course gorgeous views. Will return for longer , will have a picnic there.

Beautiful waterfall. Large parking area right next to the waterfall. Easy for handicapped access. A must-see if in Hilo

Beautiful park with glorious views of the waterfalls. A definite must see. Be sure to continue onto to the Boiling Pots at pee pee falls.

The rainbows are pretty much guaranteed during most of the day because of the orientation of the Sun relative to the direction of the spray from the falls. They form from the droplets of the water from the force of the falls, so not dependent on rain. You can probably tell the time of day and month of year from their position and orientation, so it could equally well have been called the Sundial Falls.

The hardest part about getting to it is finding parking space, but it is worth the effort. Rainbows are cool, regardless of how often they pop up in Hawai'i.

There's a small banyan grove off to the side at the top of the falls that is worth a dekko, but keep an eye on the roots, which can trip you up.

It was easy to get to. Very busy, but not so that you couldn't enjoy the falls yourself. It was Beautiful and very relaxing to see and listen to.
