Beautiful falls, but good lord, the tour buses! We got away from the badged masses by walking up the trail to the river above the falls. OK to visit but be aware you won't be alone.

There's not much to see here other than a really lovely waterfalls but if you have difficulty walking or are in wheel chair this is easy for you to see. (Unlike a lot of the other attractions).

Plus it's pretty much on your way to the volcano park so you might as well stop by and check it out.

And it's FREE

In and out in less than 10 mins.

We got this at 9:30am. It says in mid morning you can see the rainbows. We continued on to Pe'e Pe'e Falls/Boiling Pots and then Wailae Falls and then came back. Still only a small rainbow. Still a very nice Falls. A must to do all 3 Falls. 1.5 hours with picture taking.

We visited this with friends and found it to be a nice stop, but nothing "must-see." It is just off the road, so ease of access is good. The view is nice, and the waterfall is pretty. We walked around to the top of the waterfalls, where the stream had carved through rocks and that was pretty neat but again not a highlight on our trip.

If you need an hour to spend outside, stop and explore. But if you have other things to do, its not really something you'll regret not seeing.

The falls were nice but the water flow was low. There were some undesirables in the parking lot making us nervous to leave our car but we had placed valuables in the trunk prior to our visit and our car was untouched when we returned. great photo op for the falls
