If you are driving north on the Kona side, this is defiantly a place to stop for lunch. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
The food is good, I had a fish of the day sandwich, with home made mango salsa and home made coleslaw and waffle fries. The fish was well cooked moist without being soggy, freshly made salsa added zing and the coleslaw crunchy, the waffle fries were cooked to perfection, fluffy on inside crispy on outside. My husband had a chicken quesadilla, the 1st one came out stacked with cheese which made it sloppy, they took it back with no hesitation and the 2nd was fine, the side salad although not chilled enough did have a very nice papaya dressing. We tried all 3 mini desserts, the chocolate macadamia nut was made with Belgium chocolate ( you could taste the quality of the chocolate) moose like in texture' excellent. Their award winning Kona coffee cheesecake has a perfect texture and consistency, delightful. Their passion fruit cheesecake added a welcome zing to the taste buds.
