We just had lunch here--ordered the New Yorker, described in the menu as pastrami with cole slaw on a kaiser roll. Aye, we were very disappointed. The "kaiser roll" was some sort of a hard bread roll cut in half, not even remotely resembling a kaiser roll; the cole slaw was tasteless and dry; the pastrami was average at best. We had our stomach set for a true deli, New York-style pastrami sandwich on a kaiser and this sandwich certainly isn't what we expected based on the description and our experience with NY-style pastrami sandwiches.
There basically was no service except from the deli side who brought us the sandwich; he was kind, but the rest of the staff in there was loud, no one else was eating in there at the time, the music was strange and the restroom needed a good cleaning. We'd walked in the bar side; the bartender explained no service but give him the order, which we did. Then the deli side fellow brought it to our table (inside tables only). Just a strange experience overall; can't recommend the New Yorker sandwich for sure; also can't recommend eating inside the restaurant.
