Sadly - we had to end our stay at the Ka’awa Loa Plantation.
My husband and I had planned and made a reservation for 5 nights and I ended up extending and staying for 7 nights and If we could have.... extended it even longer
The owners Greg and Michael are simply wonderful hosts, never going out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible. i.e. offering recommendations for dinner and beaches to go to.
Back to business: we stayed at the cottage and liked the more private location – however close enough to the main house to be part of the vibe there.
The breakfast every morning was unbelievable, either blueberry or banana pancakes, great egg bake with sausages, all accompanied by a wonderful fruit selection.
Some evenings hors d’oeuvres, with a glass of red wine were offered – which was a really nice touch!
The view from the lanai offered great sunsets - enjoying them with a glass of wine, perfect place to be.
Icing on the cake - we had a red-eye flight out in the evening, as the B&B was not full, we were offered a hospitality room to leave our luggage, took a shower at the great outdoor shower.
To us, the stay at the Ka’awa Loa Plantation was a very memorable stay .More
