I had a panini sandwich with homemade sourdough bread.
The meat was tasty and the bread was good. They also served a free malasada while we waited.
It is a little hard to park, but well worth it.

Awesome, very authentic Hawaiian food. Plus the maladada's were wonderful. Absolutely worth the stop after touring the Captain Cook monument & the painted church.

Great stop off of hwy 11. My family and I stopped here for breakfast, the waitress is extremely friendly and the food is delicious! You've got to try the French toast and the malassadas. The resturant may be small but it is a hidden gem on the big island!

Small,cafe-type restaurant on hwy 11. Perfect place to stop for breakfast or lunch when traveling from Kona area to volcano. Owned and operated by a group of sisters. Fresh food and super friendly service. Small menu but tasty choices such as haupia (coconut cream) macadamia nut pancakes. Reasonable prices.

Couldn't be more comfortable restaurant. Stopped for breakfast on way to City of Refuge. Lovely attentive owner with great food. Malasadas, haupia pancakes, Portuguese sausage. Yum.
