Keoki's Ono Fish n Chips
Ranked #8 of 30 Restaurants in Captain Cook
Certificate of Excellence
Cuisines: Fast Food
Description: About 24 miles south of Kona International Airport...on Mamalahoa Hwy. Absolutely the BEST fish and chips ANYWHERE. Fresh, light batter, chips are thinly sliced and delicious. We have gone there several times on each of our last 3 vacations to the Big Island. Great little place to stop.

had their fish & chips...tasted wordse than an old tire. I chewed on it for a week! No fish there! Don't eat their food! Lived in Alaska all my life!!!!! We know fish. And, the own who told me the food was fresh kept falling asleep at my table...must be too good of coffee beans...from the islands...

We stopped this place because we were hungry. The sign said "fresh fish & chips", so we just got in. The staff proudly said that their fish is "really fresh". We decided to try. Wow!! The best fish I have ever had in my life!! NOT from frozen, freshly caught, tender, juicy and even sweet!! The staff told us that they have 6 local fish providers, and they got 1 big Ono from a kayak fisherman in the morning. Must try!!

All the seafood was fresh and delicious. The loved the Ono “Fish and Chips”.” The Tartar sauce was the best I have ever had and the atmosphere was truly local…with a table outside the restaurant.
