We had never been out west before and didn't know what to expect , but what a wonderful experience! We started our trip with 2 nights at the wildflower- it is gorgeous! there is so much wildlife and foliage around this home - it's beautiful! the hosts were so welcoming and went our of their way to accommodate my special needs for diet! I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're in Jackson hole ! we would love to return someday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grand Teton National Park must be one of the most beautiful places on earth and this inn is located on the south end of the park on a minor road that is brilliant for wildlife viewing. There are shops and restaurants within easy reach. The inn is built to look like a wooden alpine lodge and fits in well with its background. We stayed here for three nights in the Lupine Room. While the room was a good size and pleasantly decorated, the bathroom was small with only a toilet and a shower - the basin being outside in the bedroom which I personally don't like. Also, the ceiling consists of large logs and I can imagine this could cause issues for someone with claustrophobia being very slightly oppressive. Otherwise the room was lovely ,free wifi, nice chairs, comfortable bed, access to the deck outside and all beautifully clean and quiet. Breakfast was served at 8.15 promptly, family style, and was a good substantial meal with cereals, fruit, a hot dish such as pancakes, eggs and a special such as peach smoothie or ginger cake. Our hostess Sherrie was always present at breakfast but didn't eat with us. Sherrie was on crutches when we were there and was running in some new staff so was slightly distracted a lot of the time. She is absolutely passionate about where she lives and will give you information on what to do, where to go, what to see and where to eat for every season of the year. You may feel you have information overload, but she wants you to enjoy your stay and get the most out of it. She very kindly gave us a discount coupon from her local paper for one of the activities we wanted to do. During our recent trip, we have stayed in several 'luxury' inns and bed & breakfasts. Wildflower was the most expensive place we stayed and yet had no additional extras like a swimming pool, a jet tub or even a bath ! Even the afternoon tea and cookies were only available for a couple of hours a day (when we were out) and not all day long as at some places. The policy of taking payment in three chunks prior to arrival also meant that we had to pay three foreign currency transaction fees which was an unwelcome additional expense - this issue needs to be considered for foreign guests. No other establishment we visited required more than a single deposit. While we had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Wildflower (and had some good wildlife encounters with beaver, moose, elk, black bear and coyote), it cost us a lot and didn't really deliver at that very top level.

The first time we came to the Wildflower Inn we had no idea what a wonderful stay we would have. We had read rave reviews about it and decided to give it a try. Now it's the only place we'll stay in the Jackson area. We have stayed here 10 or 12 nights total over the past 3 1/2 years. It's perfect! Sherrie, Innkeeper Extraordinaire, gets all the credit here. She directed us to all the best places, finding out first what our interests/abilities were. We went on wonderful hikes to lakes, beautiful drives to photograph wildlife, had delicious dinners, all upon her recommendations. She lent us walking poles, coolers, offered to get further information for us or make reservations, and could not do enough for us. She gave us the inside scoop on various activities and locales, which was priceless, as she is a fountain of knowledge. The breakfasts are superb, and there are afternoon snacks, usually homemade goodies. The beds are plush and everything is luxurious and comfortable. The grounds are exquisite, with a stream, beautiful trees, lush lawn, and lots of flowers on the patio. We saw a mother moose and her calf stroll through the backyard, settling down to rest for quite a while. Another trip we got a nice picture of a great horned owl in a tree on the property. We are planning another trip to Jackson later this month and can't wait to spend time at the Wildflower. Please don't hesitate to stay here!

My wife and I were so fortunate to stay at The Wildflower Inn in February. Sherrie and Ken are superb hosts - they were able to point us in the right direction for everything….cross-country skiing, wildlife viewing, downhill skiing, restaurants, and more. Their team is great too…wonderful, tasty breakfasts and afternoons snacks. The Inn itself is charming…each room feels like your own personal well appointed log cabin.

We can't wait to go back!

Booking on line and not knowing what to expect - we were so delighted with our find of the Wildflower Inn. Tucked into the woods but not far from anything, we enjoyed our room with Moose viewings almost every morning along with the most delicious breakfasts. Our Hosts were wonderful and welcoming and we enjoyed meeting the other guests as well. This was the perfect place to end our 16 day journey, the last 5 nights at the Wildflower. We hope to spend more time there in the near future. Joanne & Tom Bove

My wife and I made our first trip to Grand Teton NP in 1994. One of our close friends recommended this "new" Inn located on the Teton Village Road called the Wildflower Inn. From the minute we drove up, to the end of that very first stay, we knew we found our home away from home. In the years since, we have stayed with our Jackson family, Sherrie, Ken and Jessie Jern, more than 20 times. Every time we go, now with our daughter too, we find something new and exciting to do. The Wildflower is just down the road from the entrance to Grand Teton NP and Yellowstoen. We have hiked, rafted, been horseback riding, gone hot air ballooning, downhill and cross-country skiing, and more. Most of all we love seeing all the wildlife (including often moose right outside the rooms), eating a good meal, and coming back home to our friends at the Wildflower. The rooms are very nice, and the breakfasts even better. It is the BEST INN with the BEST INNKEEPERS, ANYWHERE, bar none! Do not go to Jackson Hole without staying at the Inn.

We took ten days to explore the Tetons and Yellowstone and before heading home we capped it all off with a short stay at the Wildflower Inn. What a great find and what a totally wonderful experience. We stayed in a lovely 2 bedroom apartment nestled in the woods beside the main house. It was quiet, comfortable and beautifully decorated with a nice balcony where we quickly settled in with a glass of wine and were soon joined by three young deer in the yard below.

Sherry was the perfect hostess. Upon arrival she offered lemonade, tea, ice water, tasty cookies and I'm not sure what all else. She helped us get settled and provided sound advice regarding our evening plans. Following a great nights sleep, we arrived in the main house where we were greeted by a fantastic breakfast and where we met our fellow guests. We enjoyed great conversation before and over breakfast before heading out. A wonderful experience and if we are back in the area we will surely book a longer stay at the Wildflower Inn.
