My husband and I got married this summer in Jackson, WY, and had our reception at the Bentwood Inn. Their policy is that, for a wedding reception, you must reserve the entire inn for the nights before and after the event (to avoid having other "non-invited" guests at the inn who might feel uncomfortable or annoyed at all the activity). So, we filled the inn with family and friends, and we stayed there for a whole week.
Deborah and Lee are so warm and welcoming. By the end of our stay, we really felt like the Bentwood Inn was our home away from home. Lee cooks amazing breakfasts each morning and sets out wonderful happy hour fare each evening. Our room was warm and cozy, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job of keeping it tidy despite the piles of wedding-related stuff everywhere!
Deborah and Lee also went out of their way to make sure our reception went perfectly. They worked with our planner (I think a planner is required when hosting a reception at Bentwood, but if not, I HIGHLY recommend working with one anyway), the babysitters who took over the dining room, the caterer, etc. We had 85 attendees at the reception, and that's about the max that I think would comfortably fit in a tent on their back lawn. The lawn and the surrounding trees made the perfect reception setting.

We found that the Bentwood Inn's central location was extremely helpful because a) it's much easier to find than some other reception locations in the area, and b) it's located centrally between Teton Village and Jackson, so none of our guests had long drives home after the reception (which was important to us since we were serving alcohol and there are often large animals on the roads at night). If you're worried about road noise, don't. The Inn is set back a bit from the main roads, and we never heard any road noise during our stay there.
In a nutshell, I can't recommend Bentwood Inn enough, both for a possible wedding reception site, and for a vacation stay. We stayed there during peak season, so it wasn't cheap, but we loved every minute of our stay there.More
