We find it difficult to give a lower review, because the staff and people are friendly. All campgrounds were full in the area, including forest service and state parks, and all full in Cody. This was the only place that had a very few pull thru or back in spots. We know this is seasonal, but it is over priced. The spots are NARROW, but has full hook ups. Most campers are busy during the day, and not at their units, but we chose to only stay a few days, trailers and motorhomes are just too close together. The pool was supposed to be heated but was cold. We state again, the people and staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful.
The restaurant? One has to remember this place is away from Cody, and probably hard to get wait staff. They were short handed, but doing the best they could. The meal was just ok, salad bar was empty. We should have eaten at our own trailer. They do have an excellent beer menu.

Room tip: over priced

We loved this place. It had its pros/cons which I will high light but in general this place was perfect for us! We stayed 5 days the 2nd week of June 2019. Showers are BUSY and you better wait in line or have one in your RV. The hot tub was great after a long day hiking in the park of which we saw Bear (multiple times) Elk, moose, Mountain goats and at least a gazillion buffalo! Internet connection was amazing we never had an issue. Didn't really watch cable but there were a few local channels. We have a 36' 5th wheel and a F350 dually and we had plenty of room and were not jammed in so tight that it was "difficult" (spaces 11 & 12) It was fairly close to things meaning you had to drive into Cody and they have a nice walmart several grocery, gas, supplies etc.
ok for the cons....
Very little grass in fact the only grass was around the edge lol the parking lot is just that a large parking lot of dirt gravel and oh believe me Cody is like the rest of WY and its always windy! So dust is a big issue. No mature trees or shrubbery just gravel and dirt on both sides of your site. there is a picnic table but we chose to eat inside rather then have dust flavored everything.
The other issue is its spendy.... That said location location location. your not far from the East entry of Yellowstone and we throughly enjoyed the hiking and wildlife there and through the lamar valley. WORTH THE RIDE!

so some things to do and see or that we recommend ...

If traveling with your fur babies and need doggy/kitty day care then check out the Bed and Biscuit! CALL THEM GET THE VACCINATION LIST THOUGH!!
OMG our dogs treated us like steamed brussels sprouts dinner when we came to pick them up and at one point the little gal had to walk our Prozac Weimaraner out to the vehicle because he kept trying to go back inside. We suddenly were no longer cool to our pets and this was quite the blow to our egos!

GO to the Cody Cattle Company dinner and Rodeo! Do not miss this if you are in the Cody vicinity because the brisket is mind altering good and the show is a blast of wild west wonderment!

be adventurous and call the Bill Cody Ranch just a few miles down the road and go for a horseback ride with Rachel! Our 4 person party did the 2 hr ride and our guide Rachel was actually startled by a small black bear on our trail. She handled it like pro! None of our horses startled or freaked out (even if their riders were literally loosing our $#!T!!) and little bear tore off through the underbrush to get away and we moseyed on our way! LIKE this was straight out of a louie Lamour book I swear! The view was just breath taking and one of the highlights of trip. There are several places to ride but the Bill Cody ranch is out in the mountains not along the highway or around the circle park in town and worth every penny for the experience of what this area is all about.

Room tip: The little cabins are adorable but we traveled by RV

New owners and staff provide outstanding service going to extra lengths to meet your needs. Very early season stay for three nights in a motor home. On the Shoshone River surrounded by the foothills and mountains. Half way between Cody and the east Entrance to Yellowstone. Restaurant on site with bar, breakfast lunch and dinner.

have stayed here several times while out in cody. great place to stay, but won't be again. owners decided to raise price of cabins by 100.00. to bad, was affordable. hope they could change that in the future.

This was a nice distraction to being in town. We requested a room that overlooked the river so our view was nice. The bathroom is quite small but we figured it out. The breakfast was not very good so we passed on it the second day. I don't know that I would stay here again but it worked for our two-night stay in Cody.
