We were looking for somewhere nice and certainly found it. Our first day in the mountains and we wanted somewhere scenic to stay. In a wide valley, with mountains visible on both sides, not much else around, styled look a dude ranch. Staff were very welcoming, and the lobby had all kinds of quirky adornments.
The cabin-style room we stayed in was a little basic, but that was in keeping with the rustic theme. Very dusty outside. Plenty of space on the wide veranda to sit out and enjoy the evening, although the sun did set behind us, so I guess we were facing the wrong way. WiFi in the room a little less than adequate.
Nice place to eat in the evening, just next to the lobby. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast served in the same place next morning - very good.
And the stars! Bright and plentiful. About as close to nature as we city-folk wanted to be.More
