While visiting Thayne, WY over the Labor Day holiday weekend, we were looking for a place to eat on a Sunday evening. Most of the local eateries are not open in town on Sunday, but Sweet Lips was referred to us as a fun place for food and entertainment by the desk clerk of the hotel we were staying at.
Only a few miles outside of Thayne, towards Star Valley, this was really an unexpected treat off the beaten path. It doesn't look like anything fancy from the road when you pull up, but the view from the large back deck is amazing! Miles of views across the Star Valley area - fields, forest, mountains, etc. BEAUTIFUL! The bonus is they are open late!
The pizza was just like you'd make at home, and we found it to be quite tasty. The ice cream parlor is located downstairs, along with the 9 hole miniature golf course.
My family enjoyed dinner, a round of miniature golf, followed by ice cream cones. This was the perfect place for us to spend time together and we were impressed by the hospitality and courteousness of the owners/operators.
