This is the most fun restaurant in Teton Village, given that their specialty is fondue and it is just such a great -and these days unusual - group activity! But the place is a fail. There is such potential here, but mediocre food and terrible service just don't allow for a successful outing. If they could get their act together, this would be the most popular place in the village. Sadly, it is this way every time we return, and i think we have finally decided not to return until something major changes.

We've certainly had better European food, and at much cheaper price. The menu is extremely limited. Our group had Pffersteak made with Bison Tenderloin (about 4oz) (wasn't bad but very small portion), pheasant, and Schnitzel. The Schnitzel was disappointing - it was just pounded veal that was not breaded and pan fried. Nothing special. It didn't look appetizing. While the staff was friendly, the service was VERY slow; do not suggest going with little kids as they have no kids menu and kids need to be fed quickly. We ordered 2 scoops of ice cream for the kids and that took 15 minutes. Very disappointing.

You walk all the way up the stairs (we didn't see any elevators) to get to this place.
Since it's a ski resort area, that shouldn't be a problem for most customers.
The food was meager - THE most un-generous German restaurant we have ever visited.
The prices were high.
The service, even though only one other table had patrons, was very slow - and indifferent.
Even the manager never bothered to come over and check to see if we were OK.

We ordered weinerschnizel. As I said, meager portions.
The breading was really good. But the meat tasted as if it
had been frozen, then nuked before serving.

Drove out for lunch hoping to get a dunkel and dunkel and schnitzel. Disappointed on both accounts.
Had a number of German beers but no dunkel? How do you do that.
No schnitzel other then a schnitzel sandwich.
Had some soup and ice tea and left.
Servers were good.

We had dinner there the last weekend in September of 2018. The service was warm and friendly and helped us with our selection. The food was excellent and the portions were perfect. We ran into some new friends we made while in Yellowstone that were from the UK and they were, quite by accident, seated next to us and that opportunity to visit and get to know them better really added to the experience.
