We did not stay at the Hotel Terra. We stayed in a three bedroom, three bathroom, Crystal Springs Condominium which is managed by the Hotel Terra. The condominium itself was wonderful and a perfect location for access to the Aerial Tram, Gondola and Kids Ranch. It was great to have daily housekeeping and very nice to have room service available from a number of restaurants--including the Osteria, which we enjoyed.

We were not given access to the Hotel Terra's hot tub and pool, but instead were expected to walk quite a bit further to use the facilities at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (which I found very mediocre).

Our biggest complaint was the noise from the plows at night. We stayed in a room overlooking the ski resort parking lot. It snowed every night (lovely) and the plows came out in force every night to plow the lot. It was unbelievably loud in the bedroom overlooking the lot. We had many sleepless nights. During the day the construction noise in the adjoining lot was loud enough that it prevented anyone from catching a nap to make up for the loss of sleep during the night. I spoke to some guests staying in the same building with a room facing the back of the building and they did not hear any of the plow noise from their location.

After returning home I realized that I had left a load of clothes in the dryer. After researching the issue, the staff member thought she had found my items and called to confirm. After I told her that they were not the right items, she said she would call me back, but never did.

I had two massages at the Hotel Terra and loved them! Great therapists.

Room Tip: Would not stay overlooking the parking lot at the front of the building.

This time was our second year at Terra. We loved it last year and even more this time around. It's almost like not being at a hotel, the staff is amazing, the concierge staff helps so so much, there are many restaurants and activities in Teton Village and Jackson, but it's all super busy, and they always know the perfect answer for us to enjoy meals, activities, and all, all stress free. You can arrive at Terra and already have it all perfectly organized. The ski and car valet wonderful, no wait ever, everybody is always happy to be there. Love the bathrooms, so spacious and warm, we had a one bedroom, since we have a 5 year old, with a great kitchen that we used everyday for breakfast, great thing if you need to leave early to go skiing. The Terra Cafe' is so cute, they have nice healthy meals for breakfast and lunch, no fuss. I love the contemporary look of the place, and the fact that the lobby is so quiet, you can sit there in front of a fire place, the hotel is full, still you don't see a crowd. Spa is wonderful, and we love the hot tub, it's kind of small but I love the view, and it's cozier than a big space.
We would definitely go back.

maybe i was expecting too much of the terra. i expected to be blown away by the reviews posted here. not so much
this is a very nice hotel, but it lacks in a few areas. the pool and hot tub are marginal at best. much too small for a place this size.
we rented a two bedroom unit, which is basically a hotel room attached to a suite with kitchen. not really enough space to stretch out as i would have hoped for. the unit was lacking in things like coffee filters, not enough glasses and tableware. also the washing machine/dryer is down the hall and were filthy and one washing machine broken.
the in floor heating in bathrooms didn't work.
we unfortunately faced the parking lot in a low unit, which meant we heard noise for much of the stay.
the positive side is that the staff is wonderful and the villagio osteria restaurant is in the building.
for a family of three to spend nearly 1k a night, this was not what i was hoping for. oh, well, next year, we can try somewhere else.

Will definitely return there. Upscale. Close to departure of Tram. ideal option, cheaper option than the Four Seasons and I don't think I missed out at all. Good value. Great bed and pillow. Great bathroom. nice hot tub outside.
We had a balcony over looking the valley. It was just wonderful for less than 350 dollars a night. Option to cook in the room. This is like a residence. Good restaurant options, even breakfast. More expensive than Starbucks but food is better and definitely good on-site option.
Very nice staff.

This visit was my second visit in 2 years to Hotel Terra and again I am so impressed by this clean and most comfortable hotel, the friendly and helpful staff, the outstanding location, and the great restaurant opportunities. Free ski valet as well as free car valet were super convenient and most appreciated. I'll be back!

everything about this hotel is perfect. The people that work there, the location, the rooms, the price, etc. We have stayed at the other hotels and rented condos. There is no reason if you want to ski and be in the Village to stay anywhere else. If you need ski gear it is literally in the lobby. The food is terrific too.

Room Tip: every room I have stayed in was good. All depends on how much space you need.
