You can't beat this for apre ski! Great place to congregate at the end of a long day! They had live music every day and lots of activity! Great place to people watch, enjoy a glass of wine, or have a great burger!

You can't beat the Après-ski location at the base of the mountain! Sumptuous filet mignon and Baby Kale. Service was wonderful!

The Four Seasons has tried more than once to redesign and enhance this restaurant, every time failing miserably. The last version has a few good things but overall remains by far the worst in a place (Teton Village) were lunches are affordable and service is usually good.

What's Good? The new design is bright, which is nice compared to the old dark and unwelcoming design of the previous version "The Peak." The windows are large and bright, although sometimes on sunny days you get blinded if you look toward outside. No shades. The bar is nice (nice looking anyway).

What's Not Good: The service is just plain horrible. On my last visit there our order came wrong 4 times, not 1, not 2, not 3, FOUR times. My client's kid's meal came out after we were almost done eating. Our order took minutes short of an hour to show at the table. I ordered my salad with chicken and there was no chicken, had to wait 25 minutes to get the chicken. Same happened to my clients wife. On the other hand my client ordered something without chicken and his meal had chicken. Took 15 minutes to get drinks.
The wedge salad is a little piece of lettuce with not enough dressing (forget about asking for extra dressing, you'll get it the next day, I tried) for $16. Add another $16 for grilled chicken.
One of the kids asked for chicken wings, that's about $15 for 4 pieces, or you could go to the Spur at Teton Mountain Lodge where you can get much more flavorful wings (10 of them) for $10.

On a previous visit (2 weeks before) I was sitting outside and ordered Earl Grey tea, the waitress brought regular breakfast tea and never bothered to ask if it was ok. Not to sound picky but for nearly $5 is it so hard to get a tea right?

I'm not going to bring anyone there anymore, I end up looking like an idiot. You get much better service at Osteria or Spur, much better food at nearly half the cost of what you pay at the Handlebar.

A safety note: they have this open flame heater that runs all along the outside railing by the outdoor tables. If you're sitting at one of these tables you could be just inches away from the flame and you might not notice if it's cold outside. This also puts children in danger. Who would design something like this? Can you spell "lawsuit waiting to happen" ?

This place is pretty much a fail, they are successful solely because of their central location at the base of the chairlifts and because of people who have too much money and no taste.

The Handle Bar Restaurant was a really neat restaurant. It had a huge outdoor patio overlooking the slopes and the rail of the patio was lined with a stream of fire. The best plus for our purposes was the outdoor patio had a perfect view to see the New Year's show. The seating was first come first serve. The table was in the far corner angled perfectly toward the mountain. We had the best table in the place to see the show. Right at 5:30 p.m., the ski school children came skiing down the mountain with glow sticks. As soon as it became pitch black, right around 6 p.m., all the ski instructors and ski patrol had already rode up the Teewinot lift and then up the Aprè Vous lift and then they all came skiing down the mountain with flares in an orderly formation. It was incredible and looked like lava flowing down the mountain. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're around for the New Year's Eve Show. Either way, the entire time we were in Jackson Hole, I wanted to eat here just to sit at the fun outdoor patio lined with fire. It was a lot of fun and the service was great.

Great outdoor patio, seat outdoor and watch everyone skiing sown from the mountain. It is a ideal spot for hungry skiers.
