As would be expected, the Four Seasons experience never disappoints. They seek to offer world class customer service excellence and this resort doesn't disappoint.
We were there in March at the end of the ski season. We enjoyed direct access to the chair lifts -- located just steps from the ski concierge (they will even warm your boots in advance). At the end of the day, we enjoyed a few adult beverages on the hotel patio while we gathered around gas fire pits with friends (and warm wool blankets that the staff will ensure you have). Others indulged in après ski s'mores.
Even if you don't ski, this resort can coordinate plenty of other activities for people of all ages and life stages. Be sure to participate in "bucket list" activities such as dog sledding, snow shoeing, guided snowmobile tours through Yellowstone, and sleigh rides through the National Elk Refuge to name a few. The hotel offers shuttles into town, so it's quite easy to get back and forth between Jackson Hole and The Village.
Request a mountain view room with a balcony so you can enjoy the full winter experience. Beware, however, that mountain grooming is done at night and into the early morning hours. You will hear this.
Dining at the hotel offers a few different restaurants and lounges. If you stay at the resort, experiment. They are all comfortable and relaxing.
Expect a bit of a drive to the Four Seasons if you plan to fly in. The best part is the endless beauty and scenery on the way there.
This is a place you won't want to leave.
