“A decent Upgrade in the Tetons”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2010

Purchasing our room earlier in the year at The Inn, led to an upgrade to a full condo room at the Teton Mountain Lodge. I kept waiting for the condo sales rep to visit us, but that didn't happen. The room had everything one would need, the hot tub on the roof was great and there were other tubs and pools elsewhere on the property. The Cascades is their own eatery, and well it was good but over priced. The menu was laid out with some quality meals, but my girlfriends first fish dish was served raw (no not tuna), and my medium rare elk filet was overdone. The desserts looked very good, but here too, looks were not telling of final product. All in all though a pretty good dining experience.

We stayed here for five nights to celebrate my 50th. My wife and I do alot of traveling, a large portion of it is on a motorcycle. This is a very nice hotel. One of the cleanist we have stayed in. But the real jewel is the staff. They are incredibly friendly and helpful. We visited Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Jackson, and used the tram and gondola. The views from our room were fantastic. The roof top hot tub is a must. You have got to try the buffalo spare ribs over cheese grits at their restaurant. They made arrangements for me to park my scooter in the secure parking area and helped us to avoid bad roads due to construction. I truely cannot say enough great things about our stay except thanks for the great memories on my 50th.

Stayed 2 nights at this property. It was a fine hotel, but I was expecting more based on their website and other reviews. Room was very cramped and had no storage except one small closet. Stone tile in bathroom and kitchenette was very nice and soap was incredible. Pools were nice, however, was informed after booking the room that the rooftop hot tub did not allow children under 18. This should be noted on web site. Location is great if you are skiing at Jackson Hole, but for summer, I would have rather been in the town of Jackson. Attractions would have been closer, shops much less expensive, more restaurant selections. I paid about half the regular rate (due to an auction gift certificate) and felt that it was worth what I paid but not worth the regular room rate. Concierge was very helpful in booking activities for us before our arrival. One last comment - we had a 'do not disturb' sign on our door, but at 8am entire family was awakened by housekeeping knocking loudly on the door directly next to ours and calling out "housekeeping." Maybe they could have started at the other end of the hall or not knocked or called out so loudly?

Thank you for your positive comments about Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa. We make every effort to offer amenities and services that will exceed our guest’s expectations, and we value your feedback as a way to ensure we address every guest concern. In an effort to make certain our guests know that our rooftop hot tub is for the enjoyment of hotel guests 18 years or older, we have provided additional notes about this on our web site. Furthermore, we have also addressed your thoughts on our housekeeping noise levels surrounding rooms with Do Not Disturb signs. We are very glad to know that you enjoyed our concierge services, bath and kitchen amenities, and hope you’ll come back and visit us again sometime.

We stayed at this resort for the last three nights of our family vacation to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We loved this resort for many reasons. First of all, I chose the resort for the location and the rooftop jacuzzi and pools. The location was great and we enjoyed taking the tram up 10,000+ feet for the spectacular view. We also enjoyed eating at the hotel's restaurant and the Mangy Moose. The Cascade restaurant was great for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff were very friendly. I think our server's name was Savannah and she was sweet, friendly and efficient. The meals were all very good and it was nice to enjoy the breakfast buffet each morning, especially the fresh fruit. I enjoyed the option of eating inside our outside, both were very nice.

When we arrived, we decided to upgrade to a 2 bedroom loft suite and it was SPECTACULAR!!! I could have lived here it was that beautiful and spacious. My son loved having his own loft bedroom with attached bath. I loved the decor, the view and the spacious beauty inside and outside our room. The kitchen was very nice although we did not really use it. There was also a small shared balcony.

The rooftop jacuzzi was a lot of fun especially when the paragliders swooped overhead. We even saw a hot air balloon one morning. The pools were also nice and since it wasn't peak season they were quiet. We also enjoyed the spa and I bought the mandarin perfume and lotion after a great massage by Michael who used the mandarin oil at my request.

This was truly my favorite resort room that we have ever stayed in, I am so glad we upgraded! It was a relaxing way to end our family vacation and I would highly recommend the Teton Mountain Lodge to others.

The room was exceptional but with ZERO view. There appeared to be many rooms available but the staff would not give us a room with a view. We paid $300 plus a night with no view.

We booked a reservation using jet setter for Teton Mountain Lodge. Arrived to find an amazing 1-bedroom, plus full kitchen (granite counters, top of the line appliances, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee) living room (comfy sofa and leather chairs) Large, spacious bathroom with soaking tub. We Inquired into moving to a room on higher floor for better view ( ask for 3rd floor or higher, valley view) and they moved us, no hassle. Spa was top of the line, roof top jacuzzi had stunning view of Teton mountains. Resort is within steps of Tram. Since it was summer, we had the options of horse back riding, bicycle rentals, hiking right at the base of the Tetons and steps outside of the resort. Hotel service was perfect ( they even washed our muddy boots) made excellent dining and tour suggestions. I could have stayed a few more days and will go back

We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our 11 day trip to the area and this hotel lived up to its reputation. The room was large, clean and had a great view of the mountains. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. We were disappointed the rooftop hot tub was closed for repairs but the front desk manager went out of his way to make arrangements for us to have use of a nearby hotel's 6th floor tub. The bed in the room was very comfortable and we had 2 sets of sliding doors to balcony. Great , Great and we would love to visit again someday. Highly recommend this hotel
