We spent five days at the Teton Mountain Lodge and I cannot say enough about it. From the minute we arrived we were treated like we were special. Ben, the bellman showed us to our room and told us all about the hotel and what was available. Pam at check-in could not have been more welcoming and even upgraded our room.

The Lodge is in a great location, near all the attractions and within 15 minutes of Jackson Hole. There are many restaurants, things to do and a number of shops. This would be the perfect spot for skiing as the lodge is at the base of the ski hill.

There is room service and a wonderful onsite restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food and service are very good. Swimming pools and hot tubs make this a great place to visit. We would definitely return.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice but higher rooms have better views.

Upon check-in for 4 nights we had some difficulty with a gentleman desk clerk. As a result we had to wait beyond the 4pm check in time. We had lunch on the property--thus incurring another fee at the hotel. In my experience most hotels will allow guests to occupy rooms prior to the stated check in time. I also asked the clerk for a possible room upgrade. We were staying in a nearly empty hotel, during the middle of the week, in an upgraded room to begin with. We could have just as easily ordered their entry level room..but we paid the extra for the alpine studio. Whenever I stay at a Hilton or similar type property; I get a free upgrade whenever it's feasible.

Other than getting off on a sour note all else was good with the property.

We have stayed at the Teton Mountain Lodge 4 times in the past few years, and it is the only hotel in which to stay in Teton Village. The quality of the staff, spa, restaurant and rooms is unparalleled, especially given the price.
In July 2011, we stayed a few days while also taking some days to camp in the Park as well. As usual, we loved the Alpine Lodge room which gives you the option of cooking in a full kitchen. The Murphy bed is always comfortable, and we love the double shower. The best part of the stay, by far, occurred when the staff remembered my birthday from check-in, and upon our return from the Rodeo, we were greeted with a birthday card and truffles! I was touched and blown away. Also, our massages at the Spa were top notch and our meals in Cascades Restaurant delicious.
We also stayed at the Lodge in September 2011 in a bi-level condo. The condo was fantastic, especially with 3 full bathrooms. We were also greeted with a personal card at the beginning of this stay. These personal touches make the Teton Mtn. Lodge superior to any other Teton Village lodging.
We will be back within the next 6 months, and we will stay at the Teton Mtn. Lodge.
Last, but not least, the proximity to the Park is a huge draw.
Again, there are many hotels/condos/lodges in Teton Village, but my recommendation is the Teton Mtn. Lodge!

My husband and I stayed here for a night after a trip to Yellowstone. We had the studio room with the Murphy bed. The Lodge is beautiful and we loved our room. It was like a mini apartment with a gorgeous granite kitchen, island, dining table, and liv. room with fireplace. The bathroom was wonderful with a double size shower. Even the furniture was beautiful with "bear" design pillows and a leather chair. Our balcony overlooked the ski mountain and the Jackson Hole gondola. The Murphy bed was comfortable and we loved the fireplace at night. We did not have time to use the spa, but the view from the roof was great. We walked thru Teton Village in the evening. Very new and upscale; like a smaller Beaver Creek or Vail, CO. Lovely condos and a few restaurants. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. We had dinner outside at the "Mangey Moose". A bit more affordable and the food was excellent. The next morning we went into Jackson Hole; about a 15 minute drive. Wish we could have stayed here for 2 or 3 days. It is a pricey, but wonderful area. The Tetons are awesome. Loved every minute of our stay here!!

Room Tip: Ask for a room that overlooks the ski mountain and gondola.

Stayed here after racing in LOTOJA (206 mile, 1day bike race). Staff was very helpful the entire time we were there and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. Room was immaculate. Hot tubs were soothing. Breakfast was delicious.

Staff is outstanding, and interior is very nice. Solitude Spa is excellent. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a penthouse suite, however we didn't ask to be upgraded and there was no king size bed, and this was our honeymoon. The view was nice, and we enjoyed the shared laundry we had by being upgraded. We ordered room service from the Cascade Resturaunt and literally couldn't eat it. It was cold and looked like it had been sitting for hours. The bill was around $80 bucks for 2 entrees. They did deduct the price, but we would not recommend the food. Keep in mind there is a 18% gratuity plus a $4 service fee for room service. Be prepared to pay a lot of money. Even one glass of orange juice is $6 if that gives you an idea. The beds are terrible. The whole bed shakes if you move an inch making it impossible to sleep through the night. I am a heavy sleeper and woke no less than 10 times a night. The 5th floor honestly smells like an assisted living facility. Not making this up (haha) it really smelled of bacon which would always come through the vents into our room. Again, overly friendly staff, but we would stay somewhere else on our next visit.
