While having lunch in town my wife, who is a chef, and I met the owner and head chef Paul from The Osteria so we had the opportunity to hear first hand about the menu and recieve some recomendations. It is offseason but we made reservations anyway at a table Chef Paul suggested. We arrived late but the staff was very friendly and held our special table. They have a good wine selection with reasonable prices. We had a Pinot grig and started with some tapas, Chef Paul sent out some fried brussel sprouts in a light citrus drizzle and pomegrante seeds, we had fried olives stuffed with sausag in a light marinara sause, and an assortment of cheeses some of which were housemade. For entrees we had the Wygu beef tips and homemade butternut squash ravioli. Everything was flaverfull and fantasticand on top of a great meal they had a special where the second entree was only $2 that went to a local charity. If you are visiting Jackson make the short trip to Teton Village and try the Osteria, you won't be disappointed!
