“Great time @ Jackson Hole (aside from injuries!)”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Just spent a great 6 days at Jackson Hole. Stayed slopeside this year instead of in town, and well worth it for the amenities. We stayed at the Hotel Terra. Great service, attentive staff. Chill spa was a wonderful place for apres ski Hot tub, steamroom and shower. Cafe Terra sold filling breakfasts, although the basic coffee is a little overpriced.
Skiing is world class, and challenging. Had my first ski injury ever (likely ACL tear) and learned firsthand the value of the mountain greeters and mountain patrol.
This is a fantastic place to ski first chair to last chair.
We did go into town and ate at the "Silver Dollar" and "Local" a great place for burgers with foie gras (!) and unique happy hour drinks. Mangy Moose has surprisingly decent dinner menu ranging from trout to Elk. Albertsons has best liquor range.

“Snowboard Jackson Hole - now”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Just finished an amazing trip to Jackson Hole. We stayed in Teton Village (the on-mountain village that services the major resort) and had fantastic accommodation, good fun apres, great food and brilliant service. The terrain itself is steep, challenging, fast, fun, full of snow and versatile. There is so much more backcountry we didn't get to this year - too much terrain in bounds. An easy mountain to traverse and navigate on the board, lots of fast lifts, very well designed. Powder days are unbeatable in Jackson - plenty of face shots in the trees!!. We had days in which we charged hard all morning on the blacks, double blues and through trees, then rested the legs in the afternoon in the terrain parks. Teton is the place to stay, with easy, reliable and cheap transport to the town of Jackson - which is also must visit. See you there in Feb 2014.

“Skiing must be experienced to be believed”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

I just love this mountain, my 3rd time visiting and lived up to all its expectations, Soon after arriving it began snowing providing another powder experience for all our family. The Mangy Moose Australia Day live concert was also a great highlight, we will be back.

“Big boy and girl pants must be packed”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

You see and hear it everywhere, how this is a unique mountain. It is. Very natural and untamed. There's nothing gentle or easy here. It's a very challenging slope. If you like long, flowing runs you'll probably be a little disappointed.

“Perfect Ski Trip”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

We loved this mountain! The skiing is challenging but there is something for everyone. There were some lines at lifts on Saturday (it was a gorgeous clear day), but the other days were great with small crowds.

We stayed in the village at Hotel Terra which was perfect to ski in/ski out. We came into town one night and did the sleigh ride through the Elk Refuge and dinner at the Local during happy hour. Highly suggest both! Loved the town and after skiing Taos, Santa Fe, and about every resort in Colorado this was definitely our favorite.
