“never a bad meal”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

A person can go to Rib & Chop and always have a great meal...whether you go for lunch or dinner you won't be disappointed....if there is a downside, it might be the loudness of the music in the bar area, but anyone can tune anything out!! There is a happy hour from 3-5 Mon-Fri....tv's in the bar area....the staff is on top of things there also....their oyster rockefelller soup is the best ever if you are lucky enough to be there the day they are serving it!

“What a big surprise...thus was excellent!!”
Reviewed July 26, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I were only staying one night and the reviews were great for this restaurant and it did not disappoint! I would say the filet was good or better than those expensive steak houses. It was amazing. I had the filet and my husband had an beautiful cedar planked salmon with crabmeat. The sides were delicious too along with the desserts. I would recommend that you get there early because it gets really busy. This is the best restaurant in town!

“The best place in Cody”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

If you are in Cody Wy. make reservations and go. If you don't make reservations you will probably have to wait. This is by far the best in Cody. The ribs are so tender and juicy they fall off the bone. It's a bit pricey but money well spent. The garlic mushrooms and carrot soufflé was fantastic. The dessert was off the chart. The server was very good. Very attentive. All in all a great place to go. But remember make reservations. Enjoy!

“Great service and fantastic food :)”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

The was definitely one of our best stops on our recent vacation. The staff was courteous and attentive and the food was superb. We had a large group and everything from the steaks and ribs to the fish tacos were excellently prepared. Nice kids menu as well for those picky little eaters in your group ;) Overall an excellent experience and highly recommended.

“Great Restaurant for a Small Town”
Reviewed July 22, 2013

This restaurant has moved to 847 N. Main, Sheridan, WY. The service and food in this restaurant is absolutely first class, but without linen on the tables, thereby keeping the price of meals very reasonable. If you are familiar with the Ruth Chris Steakhouse chain of restaurants, the type of entrees at this restaurant is nearly identical (noting that the owner here is a former owner of some Ruth Chris Steakhouse restaurants!!!), but the cost compared to Ruth Chris is about one-third the cost. Steaks are prepared exactly according to your desire with quality beef, and the shrimp was jumbo and perfectly prepared. The coffee was very excellent. The crème brulee was also top quality. The salad was super fresh.
