“Clean and comfortable”
Reviewed April 12, 2013 via mobile

This motel was quite clean and the room was a typical motel room except that it offered a very comfortable recliner. The lone staff person was pleasant. The breakfast however was lacking. They advertised a hot breakfast. The scrambled eggs were cardboard pebbles and the sausage wascold and under done. The eggs too were cold. The regular continental breakfast stuff was minimal but okay and there was a waffle machine but it didn't seem to work.

A good clean value for money hotel. Room was adequate, clean, and reasonable furnishings. Moe lamp didn't work. It should be the housekeepers job to make sure all lights work as most hotel rooms are too dark.
Good welcome, efficient checking. Breakfast basic but OK.

Just what we expected and needed for a road trip stay. All amenities, spotlessly clean, very quiet. Easy check-in, friendly staff. Good wi-fi, good parking. Breakfast hit the spot. Would stay again, especially for a stopover on a long road trip.

We decided to stay overnight in Sheridan on our way to Yellowstone and booked the Quality Inn. We paid additional price to be sure to have first floor. The hotel is east of town and was in a quiet area so it did serve our purpose. The rooms are small but clean, had a refrigerator and microwave. It would not be our choice for anything over a one night stay.

Attractive, convenient to I-25, and clean but the front desk staff could be a bit more welcoming. Room was quiet and well-furnished. Cover was on the indoor spa, which isn't welcoming. Staff recommended several restaurants and the Sheridan Inn was a true delight. Air quality outside the hotel was a bit smoky due to nearly forest fire in the Bighorn Mountains but it didn't affect the ventilation inside the hotel. Breakfast was average.

We normally stay at Quality Inns when we travel and they are normally very nice. When we checked into this one we asked how the room was and the front desk person said it was the best. The room was on the second floor a long ways from the stairs, not a good start for seniors. The room was very small with a small toilet, one lamp would flicker, one lamp would not turn on, the bathroom door would not shut and the old TV had a wavey picture. The next morning the breakfast was minimal and ho-hum. The clerk was working both the front desk and the breakfast area so I assume that they were short of help.

I explained our disappoint with our experience. He did give us $20 discount and handled us very professionally which brought up the rating a couple of notches. Many of the issues should not have happened such as the door that would not close, the light switch that would not depress, etc.

Room Tip: Check your room out before checking in.

The first surprise was when we received a call from the front desk asking to make sure everything was okay in our room. That was a first.

The bottom floor rooms open both to the outside and hall. There are no elevators, but we always ask for a top floor in a quite location. It was quiet even though we were on the freeway side.

The beds are firm, crisp sheets and fluffy towels. The bathroom is a little tight, but okay. All dining options are a short drive.
