DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Absolutely horrible experience! Dark, dank, small, outdated room that was barely Motel 6 Quality. Woke up in the middle of the night being bitten by something- flipped back the covers, turned on the light to find brown jumping and crawling bugs!
They serve breakfast, but it is a poorly masked way of portion control- same breakfast as lots of other mid-range hotels with scrambled eggs, cereal, etc, but at this hotel, instead of a morning buffet where you can eat what and how much you want, here you get a slip of paper where you can "order" 3 items and the servers bring it out to you. Two servers who take their time and the food is barely lukewarm and it is not made to order- and they only filled our coffee mugs one time- it is just a way of keeping their bottom line down. NO WAY IS THIS ANYWHERE NEAR A 3 STAR HOTEL!!!! I mentioned the bugs and dissatisfaction to the morning staff when we checked out and they denied it "we dont have bed bugs" and did NOTHING to make up for the horrible night! POOR SERVICE, POOR ROOM QUALITY WITH BUGS, POOR FOOD- NOTHING TO MAKE THIS A GOOD PLACE TO STAY

Thank you for writing a review of your stay at The Best Western Outlaw Inn ……….. a while ago! In reviewing our Trip Advisor site – we noticed, for some reason, a response had never been sent your way ~ Our Sincerest Apologies. We appreciate your taking time to send us your thoughts and we do hope you’ll stop in again to stay at the corner of I-80 and WY-191. When you do ~ You'll be pleased to see our work over the past 6 years as we've spent a great deal of time (and $$$!) "renewing" this grand, full-service property. The Outlaw Inn & The Open Range Restaurant – both 2015 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Award Winners – along with our famous Outlaw Saloon are celebrating 50 years in 2016 ~ Please come by and help us celebrate!
Until then………Happy Trails to you and yours.

Building is old and could use updating, but it was nice and clean. Room smelled great and bed was very comfortable with great bedding. We had a corner inside room with one window to inside of building (room 350), stayed nice and dark and we never heard a outside noise all night. We had flown into Denver and drove 5 hours so we stopped to sleep. The negative things were, AC blower was a bit loud, No cable TV, that we could find, ceilings in room need to be updated badly, they were very ugly. More good stuff, Friendly staff and free breakfast.

When crossing Wyoming on I-80, the overnight lodging options are limited .. when crossing Wyoming during tourist season, there becomes significant competition for those resources. Fortunately, my wife and I had made a reservation at the BW Outlaw Inn. Upon arrival, the check in personnel were cheery and efficient. Our room (while windowless) was well appointed, comfortable and clean. The beds were comfortable. The motel provides breakfast. You choose from a menu provided at check in. While the breakfast wasn't spectacular, it was served hot and fresh by very pleasant attendants .. We'd certainly stay here if the situation arose.

Room Tip: Our room was on the lowest level -- we did not have a window to the outside -- and we were only a few doors from the pool (but the room was quiet) ..

Desk staff person Kelly was knowledgable and helpful. Room was excellent. Instruction on operation of heating/cooling system would be helpful. Breakfast and server Robert Fernandez were very good. Good access to room with heavy luggage.

My friend and I were on a very long road trip and this was a convenient place to stop. There are not a whole lot of options on I-80. The bar and restaurant on site made this a good choice. Our room was tiny but as we just needed a good night's sleep, it was fine. I'm not a big fan of the windowless interior room but it was quiet and we slept well. The food at the bar was decent and the service was prompt and friendly. We didn't stay for breakfast, but it was free. The wifi didn't work too terribly well.

Overall, the hotel has kind of a strange feel to it. If I was in the area again I would probably stay here but I would make sure to ask if there was a room with windows.
