I noticed some 4-5 year old reviews of this RV park were negative but on our overnight stay in June 2018 we were very happy and satisfied with the features of this place. The office staff was friendly and helpful, even ahead of our arrival, giving us directions on the phone to avoid a major city construction project. Upon arrival, we were quickly checked in and had a very large pull thru site with full hook-ups. There are some trees but our site was not shaded which was not a problem for us. We were told many RVers want their satellites to have a clear southern sky view so as trees have died, they have not been replaced. The bath - shower house looked well kept from the outside and had a security code to enter. We didn’t use it. Price was great with AAA discount, around $34.00. It was safe and quiet and we would not hesitate to stay again.

was surprised that this park was in such bad shape. dead trees, pot holes, mud. was only rv park in town-never stay there again! Owner should not be in customer relations. good sam club gave it a much too high a rating. However, laundry was clean, did not see restooms/showers

We had stayed at this RV park 4 years ago and really enjoyed the place, it isn't what it used to be. Dead trees, no grass around the camp sites, no cable TV available and the wifi was very poor. I understand that the cable was disconnected when changes were made to by the local provider and the cost associated to maintain the service, don't advertise you have cable or at least change your advertisement. Wifi was very poor, we were told our devices need to be upgraded......believe we won't be coming back.

The owner, Joe Pepper, really went out of his way to welcome guests. We were there for the 2017 Total Solar Eclipse, and Joe had arranged a number of special eclipse activities, answered all our questions about town and local restaurants, and was as accommodating as I could imagine. Restrooms and showers were very clean and updated. RV spaces had full hookups, were clean, included a picnic table and grill, and were spacious enough for our extra car. The only negative was that while we were there, the free WiFi was slow and spotty.

Hadn't planned to stay here but had engine trouble and were getting repairs from Perry's (GREAT diesel shop !). Owner of this park was very accommodating - we let him know each day if we needed to extend our stay. Great wifi (about 20 of the spots towards the front seem to have best connectivity). Country charm - enjoyed hearing the cows in the field behind. On the return trip (finishing up the repairs at Perry's), we stayed here again and a baby horse had been born across the street. Cool. The laundry was immaculate ! Only a few blocks from a wonderful city park with a skateboard section. Lots of picnic tables and green grass (our "hang-out" place while we waited for repairs). Pizza Hut across the street. Also ate a Cowboy Cafe downtown. An unexpected stay for us that was made as pleasant as possible by the "nice people" who live and work there.

Room Tip: Spots toward the front have the best wifi.
