The waitress was very good, though one of our orders came out wrong. It was replaced fairly quickly without a problem. Food was good, but not outstanding.

Years ago we used to eat in this place when it was a JB's Big Boy, but now we usually zip past Rawlins without getting off cruise control. This time we were headed home after an overnight stay in Casper, so Rawlins it was for lunch--Little America was a bit too far off.

Well, lunch became brunch for us when we discovered they serve all breakfast items until 4 pm. It had been a few days since we had had a good cooked breakfast so we were in the mood for some pancakes and eggs! Her blueberry pancakes were huge and delicious, served with real butter (on request) and heated maple syrup. His Denver omelet was outstanding. All the usual ingredients were pre-grilled and plentiful. The hash browns were very tasty, and the multi-grain toast was just right. What's not to like?

Granted, it is probably easier to please diners with breakfast than a lunch or dinner, and other reviewers seem to find little to like about this place for dinner. We'd return in a heartbeat for breakfast, anytime before 4 pm!

Moved here almost two years ago and friends took us here to eat. Ordered prime rib with mushrooms. Meat was cooked to the point of being grey and about half of the mushrooms were crunchy. Went back for first time today because friends told me it was under new management. Ordered chicken fried steak with cream gravy. Meat was mediocre at best, no seasoning, and gravy was chicken...not cream. Asked waitress about it and got very indifferent explanation that that was the gravy they always use. Will not be giving them a third strike.

The food tasted like it came out of a box. The service wasn’t very good. The waitress was more interested in socializing with the other waitress and patrons at a different table. Oh, it filled my stomach and I didn’t go to bed hungry that night but I wasn’t satisfied either. I was driving through on a road trip and have since learned that the other end of town, the east side has the best restaurants and hotels.
