My husband and I stayed here for a night before going backpacking. We loved it so much that we came back for a night after we were done camping. It was our anniversary so Emi baked us a pie! Then the next day they had a pancake breakfast outside on the creek, cooking the food on a griddle over the fire. We met a lot of great peope at the lodge. We recommend it to anyone and will go back if we are heading to the Wind River Range.

Four of us stayed here two nights in September on our way from Denver to Yellowstone. It was a lovely surprise. The room was cozy and the decor was really cute. The cabin had everything we needed including a kitchen, coffee and more! We sat outside near the creek and took in the fall colors. We saw a mama moose (cow) and her two babies (calves) just lounging in the city park. The homemade breakfast was amazing: hash-brown cheese casserole, French toast, fresh fruit, egg cups wrapped in bacon, oatmeal, toast and plenty of coffee and juices. We have great photos and great memories. The Rivera Lodge just celebrated their 60th anniversary. Congrats on 60 years. R M T and M

Stayed here several nights last month. A trip back in time. Had one of the larger cabins near the road on our way in which slept five easily and a smaller room on the river later on. Very comfortable. Breakfast was terrific. Emmy was helpful, informative & friendly. Great base if you're headed into the Wind Rivers. Brew pub nearby is OK & the Rock Rabbit is a trip with excellent food.

Room Tip: Room by the river if available!

This is like visiting the cabins of my youth. Pine paneling, cozy surroundings, the flowing river right out back as a great white noise machine. The owner/operators cook up a great breakfast (included) and the place is neat as a pin. Beds were comfortable. One block from a nice brew pub - so close enough. This was a great stop off along the way.

The Rivera Lodge is amazing! a very peaceful relaxing stay in a beautiful mountain town right up against the Wind river mountain range. i travel to Pinedale for work about 3 times a year, and this is my first choice for lodging every time i am in town. i love the stream out my back window, and the friendly service from Emi and Bird (a very friendly black Labrador.) the home made breakfast is better than any hotel i have been to. I'm a big fan of the biscuits and gravy. i woke up, looked out the front window and saw a 10 foot moose walking passed my truck. I love it!! in my opinion, you won't find a better place in town.

Stayed a week while visiting family in area. What can you say except, wonderful. Emi is a very very gracious host, very knowledgeable about area and a great cook (owned a restaurant in a prior life). The rooms were in excellent condition, clean and comfortable beds. Slept under comforter every night with the window open to hear the stream. A much better experience than whatever Hilton, Marriott or Starwood could offer.
