Small hotel located off the main road. Room was clean, service was prompt. The owner was very attentive to our requests. This was the only hotel available during the Sturgis bike event with reasonable price and not too far from the road. Do not arrive late if you want to use the hot tub. Also, breakfast was very good and plentiful.

Room Tip: Book in advance!

The Pines is so very lovely, clean and quiet!! There was no cycle noise even tho the Sturgis Rally was under way. I am so glad we looked no farther than the Pines! The yard swing was just what my daughter and I needed to relax and chat away from the stresses of travel and home. Our visit was bittersweet with the elderly we visited at the Manor and Mondell. What a pleasure to relax at the Pines that evening.

Room Tip: Make a reservation! These rooms won't last long! What a bargain they are.

Myself and another guy stayed here during Sturgis rally week. What a great hotel, Thanks to Ida this place is clean, and well maintained. Would recommend the place if you want a quite mom and pop kinda place. Because of the small size it has a great atmosphere.

We had a nice stay in Newcastle. Its hard to find a chain hotel to stay in... but this was so much better! We have 5 in our family, so she told us we'd have the room with two queen beds... it was so much more than that! There were two bed rooms, two sitting rooms, a full kitchen, and a bathroom! It was a small house. So if you'd like to stay somewhere with some space, this is the place for you!
The breakfast is really nothing to speak of- some cereal in the lobby. But with a kitchen, you can make your own, and its all good!

Room Tip: If you want lots of space, choose the two queen suite!

We were travelling through Wyoming and spent one night here. The motel is small, rooms are small but it is very comfortable and clean. We picked this motel based on other reviews and were glad we did. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend it.

Pines Motel is a cut above the average roadside inn. Attractively landscaped (with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy it!), its rooms are beautifully decorated and (for their small size) well-designed and comfortable.

We happened to be here on our wedding anniversary, and couldn't have asked for anything more pleasant.

Set back off the main road about three blocks, the Pines is a quiet, pleasant place to stay. Iva, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful, both in suggesting a place for dinner and in troubleshooting a technical issue with Internet access. The room was attractively decorated and very clean. The bathroom and shower was a bit cramped, but doable. Bath towels and washcloths were of very good quality, just like those we have at home. Sleep quality was excellent. Minimal choices for continental breakfast, but enough to get one going in the morning. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay and great value.
