Clean room, quiet, convenient to Grand Teton, unfortunately road construction during our visit led to delays and very bumpy driving. Not the lodges fault at all.

The hotel is close to the highway, gravel parking lot between, very small lobby area. We expected a more of a lodge/resort atmosphere especially at the prices. We stayed in the family suite (only room available). We did not need the space but nice to have two areas and two tv's, one in bedroom, other is small adjacent sitting room, It was somewhat cramped and broken up. Bath sinks were under dormer and if you over 5'10", you can hit your head. Commode was very cramped. It was on third floor with narrow stairway, no elevator. No good place to sit outside and no view from third floor suites (high windows), deck on end had no chairs or tables. There were wood chairs on front ground level porch, view was parking lot. We did not explore cabins which may have been better? Other hotel rooms looked like typical motel rooms. The management was very polite and helpful. Food in restaurant was OK, good hamburgers, we didn't try the more expensive meals or visit the saloon. Breakfast bar was good with the usual eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, juices, coffee and a couple of cereals. Service was good. It was a bit of a drive to Teton Nat Park, 17 miles or so but bad due to large construction project redoing highway with waits at times. We were there in Sept.

Room Tip: Rooms on backside should be quieter from highway noise. There was no AC in family suites which could...

Cosy lodge with clean, bright rooms - very welcoming after a long drive across Wyoming. Food was OK, perhaps a little overpriced, but service was friendly.

We rented a private cabin with a fireplace - just perfect for our family of four. It had 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa sleeper. The cabin was amazing... we honestly wish we could have stayed another week or two. Togwotee's location is great for visiting , Jackson one day, Yellowstone another day, and Grand Teton National Park another day. We also went horseback riding with the convenience of Togwotee's private stable full of beautiful horses. Our guide was a source of wonderful information about Wyoming and he took us on a relaxing ride with the Teton's majesty in our view. On our journey we saw mule deer and a moose. We took a morning ride and the weather was just beautiful. I can't say enough about Togwotee Mountain Lodge except that I surely hope to go back and stay another time very soon. Suggestions are to rent a private cabin (it's SO worth it) and to go grocery shopping in Jackson or wherever you are driving from before you get there. If you stay in a private cabin, you have a full kitchen with a small refrig, microwave, and stove cooktop. This will save you a bit of money by eating in and packing lunches to go to the national parks. The lodge has a restaurant but we didn't eat there so I cannot comment on it.

Room Tip: Watch for buy two get one free offer on Togwotee's website.

What a wonderful vacation my husband and I had at this resort. It was a pleasure to return after a long hot, day of hiking or rafting to our cool and breezy mountain cabin. We loved the coziness of the interior, with its solid wood furniture and rustic decor. It had plenty of windows that were easy to slide open, and blinds that were easy to use when we wanted privacy. We had no neighbors for a while, being in a cabin within the outer ring, near a meadow of flowers, with a small view of the Tetons, and tucked away in a forest of evergreens. With the front porch and picnic table and grill, all I needed was someone to clean up the ashes after a fire...and that, we had! The kitchenette was adequate so we prepared six nights of dinners, from soup to steaks. The fridge was a small one, but it was deep and cold with a freezer compartment that can hold quite a bit of meat-enough for three meals for two. The electric two-burner stove, toaster, and microwave extended our ability to prepare hearty meals. My husband washed the dishes by hand, so he now appreciates our dishwasher at home. I would bring up an extra pot and grilling utensils, although there were tongs for turning meat on the grill. There were sufficient flatware for two or three people. The cabin we had was an accommodation for six people, so I thought it could use more flatware.
I lucked out and was able to go online to keep in touch with my family, since my cell phone wasn't reliable all the time in the cabin. We liked the parking out front of the cabin, too. We had some luggage and a tub of food and a large container of household items we thought to bring with us. Another great thing about the cabin was that it had three zones for heat in the front living/dining area, the bathroom, and the bedroom. You'll love the two soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers in the bathroom, too. We have these at home. As far as the staff, they are very helpful in arranging trips such as rafting, horseback rides locally, and chuck wagon dinners, which we didn't do. The maid service was quite good.

The two restaurants there seemed well-frequented by most guests staying at Togwotee. I heard their breakfast is very good. If you want, they will pack a hearty lunch for a reasonable price, too. We packed our own lunches, though.
It seems the lodge is very popular in the winter for snowmobiling, if you like this sport. There are tons of trails here. There is so much to do in the area...drive down to Jackson, the Tetons, the numerous lakes, up to Yellowstone, which is an hour away, or just take photos like we did...of moose, elk, bald eagles, or yourselves having a blast! We will definitely return to kayak or paddleboard on the lakes! Don't forget to drive over the Teton Pass (route 22) into Idaho and back over the state line into Wyoming to see the western slope of the Tetons. It only took us three hours from Togwotee each way, but it is an awesome pass with a 10% grade, so use the low gear.
P.S. stop for food in a Dubois market before you come up. The prices were good and the selection was better than I thought it would be. We had to drive further to Jackson if we needed any new items. There is a larger market there.
This was our first time staying in a cabin and I'll never stay in a hotel room again if I have the choice of a cabin. We had the third nights free! There is a laundry room in a cabin up near the convenience store, which is open 24/7. We used the one washer that was working at the time and two of the four dryers. The gas at the filling station was expensive, so go elsewhere, like in Jackson. We spent a bit of time trying to avoid the construction on the highway, by taking Buffalo Valley Road. It is scenic, but doesn't save time as the east end is unpaved, gravel and washboard. It will all be over by the end of next year's summer. We didn't have many delays more than a few minutes. It just made our car dusty outside following the Pilot vehicle between the big tractors and dump trucks. It was adventurous, really! Kids will love seeing that!

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin with a fireplace and in the outer ring or one inside, if you want wi-fi. If you have...

I have to let you know it is an isolated location( so imagine the surrounding !) Other than that , the staff are the best I ever experienced in years. Decent facility and restaurant(you have no other place to eat). I do believe it's much more fun place in Winter. Do ask for the backside rooms. Traffic on the highway was annoyed.

We took advantage of the 2 days get the 3rd free deal. We were visiting Yellowstone and thought this would be a nice stop to go back and forth to the part. It was a very far distance from Yellowstone park and there is absolutely nothing around the area. If you are coming make sure you get groceries somewhere first.

We were there we thought perhaps we would do some horseback riding that was closed due to snow still being on the ground in areas. We finally decided to head out the next day to Cody, Wy and stay over night there so enjoy the attractions there. We came back the next day , our 3rd night free, and went on a cowboy wagon dinner which was the highlight of the stay.

Not sure I would go back. Maybe it is more fun in the winter but for us the cabin we got was in the middle of an intersection in the grounds so you had cars going past you all the time on both sides and the hot tubs were across the streat so when folks would forget their room key in the showers whose door do you think they would knock on to let them back in :)
