This place is staffed by teenagers or students needing some job over the summer. Either way, they are poorly trained. We paid 3$ for the wifi, which ended up being slow and choppy. Most of the time I was not even able to connect. As I mentioned this upon checking out the guy shrugged and said: "Yeah, we know about that." So they keep on charging guests for wi-fi that doesn't work? After that he did not even say "thank you for staying with us" or wish us a good day. In general the staff here doesn't really now what good customer service is, let alone what it takes to make guests feel welcome. They didn't smile or make eye contact with us when we walked past them during our stay. The waitress at the Whetstone Bar added a 18% gratuity on our dinner tab, although we were only two people. Her loss, we would have tipped 20%. But the bad customer service is just the tip of our experience at this place. The whole resort is ridden with mosquitoes, even in our cabin! I got bitten while carrying our luggage to the cabin and while brushing my teeth. This is the first time in my life that I applied mosquito repellent before going to bed. Our cabin (we stayed at number 2) was dark and cramped, there was barely space for two opened suitcases on the floor. Worst of all: This place isn't even cheap. Never staying here again.
