Good RV location for Nat'l Parks but totally off the grid

3.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed May 30, 2019
This RV and cabin park is located between Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, so it is very convenient for both. Unfortunately there is no connectivity there (no Wi-Fi, and no cell phone towers anywhere close). The staff was very friendly, the bathrooms and laundry areas were clean enough. There is a small store near the entrance, but the restaurant was not open until Memorial Day. I think the price was a bit high for simple an RV campsite (with hookups).

Unfortunately because of weather we were not able to visit the Grand Tetons or Yellowstone. My review is on Sharon, in reservations, who was tremendously helpful with rebooking us in the future. She was understanding and pleasant to talk with. Thank you Sharon for taking the time with us. 😊

We have been several times and enjoyed the cabins at Flagg Ranch, and we have brought a camping trailer for a more primitive experience. We loved the big welcoming fireplace in the winter and the great pines during the fall.

Check in for additional adventures and plan for the weather!

We also brought sleds and tubes for extra winter fun.

The RV campground was quite dusty. They need to gravel the roads in the campground as Tetons can be very dry. Campsites were fine, shower house was good. Convenient to both Yellowstone and Teton entrances.

We stayed for a night in camper cabin en-route to Yellowstone. It's very well kept with bunker bed, work table, glass door / windows and curtains. They also provide freshly laundered blankets on rent. The washrooms are share with other campers, but are clean and well maintained. As they mention on the website, they don't have any light in the cabins. We regret not carrying a small battery powered LED light. Also, it got pretty chilly at night, even though we had double blankets on us.

Very nice rooms, with everything you need. Very roomy. Also have the best restaurant there where we would go eat no matter where we were in Yellowstone. Always have had good meals there - probably better than anywhere the parks. We have stayed here a couple of times, and enjoyed every minute of it!

Room tip: Stayed in one of the cabins, very private and quiet.
