“Excellent Steve and Nancy are one of the best tour guides you could find.”
Reviewed June 12, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

I can not say enough about how awesome the cabin and the ranch are to stay on, The views are so beautiful the cabin is beautiful, Steve and Nancy make you feel so at home you feel you could stay there for a life time. The ranch is so peaceful and relaxing. They made sure we had everything we needed from coffee to snacks etc. There was not one thing I would change about the cabin, They had made such a beautiful place for all to stay. Taking the tour up to to see the Mustangs is like walking into Gods country! They truly take care of you and make sure you see the beauty that is up on mountain. Seeing how much they care for those mustangs is the greatest thing. I truly believe that God put them there to watch over his creations on that mountain. For seeing the mustangs is a once in a lifetime to see and it makes your heart feel like you have to keep seeing more. I have never seen a mustang in the wild and now that I did I want to go back and see them again. I would love to go back and see Steve and Nancy and stay on their ranch again! Most beautiful place you could stay.

“Best was the Red Roan visiting each day!!!”
Reviewed June 3, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

What an amazing place. Great hosts, clean spacious bunkhouse. We hope to be able to stay often when we are back in Lovell. Steve and Nancy made us feel like we were staying as friends. Everything we requested, they were able to provide. The horses in fields were a great backdrop (especially the Red Roan).

The town of Lovell is quaint, and close enough to Powell, and Cody if more excitement is needed. Just don’t speed when driving through the little towns..

We will be back frequently to visit our friends again.

John

“Ranch cabin I always dreamed of, complete with horses in front yard.”
Reviewed September 23, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

This Bunkhouse is fantastic…for a quiet western retreat near the Big Horn Mountains it can’t be beat! It is located on a small ranch a distance from the main house and facing east toward the mountains….perfect for watching the sunrise from the front porch, with a cup of good coffee. The cabin design is reminiscent of a small western town…Inside, the amenities are all very contemporary in function enhanced with beautiful artwork, design, and unique features. The bed is very comfy, the cabin quiet and peaceful beyond belief. At night we could hear the horses shuffling along the corral fence not far from the front door. It is located bout 5 miles from the charming small town of Lovell, WY.

“A True Western stay with modern amenities”

The bunkhouse was truly amazing and beautiful. I was expecting to rough it. To my surprise this replica of a true western bunkhouse is gorgeous, rustic chic and comfortable with many amenities ( WiFi, TV, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker( and many details such as the hand done wood counter top table with inlaid photos of the history of the Wild Mustangs in he Pryor mountains, the aluminum tub set on an antique mirror stand for washing your face, the old fashion photos on the walls. I slept like a baby in the comfortable wood and log framed queen bed. Out your window or while sitting on the porch your mesmerized by the views of the Pryor and Big Horn mountains and Steve and Nancy's horses that includes some adopted wild mustangs. Nancy and Steve are gracious host and wonderful people. I stayed two nights and will be back. I highly recommend if your in the Lovell area to stay at the bunk house.
