“Heaven Sent !!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2012

I wish I had photos of this amazing haven in this bustling world !!! My husband and I had traveled to Laramie for our Anniversary and a friend's wedding. We decided this hotel looked good on line, and booked our stay for 2 nights and 3 days. When we arrived we asked if we could upgrade our average room for a room with a whirlpool tub~ Well, YES !!!! They happily gave up our upgraded room at a price we could not turn down !! The room was absolutely warm and welcoming, the staff could not have been more helpful or nice ~ We were given The Lewis And Clark Suite and I melted on walking in the room ... BEAUTY doesn't describe the place adequately enough !!! The entire hotel was very gorgeously decorated for Christmas, with a fire in the fireplace in the lobby by the comfy couches and magnificent Christmas tree. Breakfast was a full meal with much to offer, included in the price of the room. There was also Soup in a big pot , coffee on all day and fruit and chocolate cookies available at all times ~ for free !!! I'll never stay anywhere else but this hotel in Laramie, Wyoming !!!

Room Tip: Suites are amazing !!!

I am in the Military and my husband and I just drove from PA to Northern California. Worst thing ever! We stopped at a different hotel each night (5 nights) and AmericInn was by far the best one. The room was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. There was free WiFi in the room, free breakfast and not continental it was delicious! They had a laundry room and fitness room with a bike, treadmill, and eliptical. Also had an indoor pool, but we did not use it. The area was beautiful. It was such a nice place to stop...highly recommended.

We were traveling home from Yellowstone (in October '11) and came to halt on Interstate 80 in the middle of the night. The Highway Patrol knocked on our window and told us we had to leave the highway. He suggested the Walmart parking lot to sleep in, as he was certain any hotel was filled by now. Fortunately, he was wrong. The AmericInn located right off the highway we thought was sure to be filled. My wife went inside while I searched through trip advisor on my phone. I wasn't having any luck but my wife came back to the car smiling.
THEY HAD A ROOM!! I was almost afraid to ask how much, because we would have paid almost anything they wanted.

The hotel showed their class to us and charged us normal rates and even gave us an AAA discount. I was expecting to pay the "rack room" price but didn't have to.

The breakfast in the morning was a ok. They were not expecting all of the guests and did a wonderful job trying to keep up. My wife was impressed they had Greek Yogurt available and I was good with coffee and a bagel. All of which were fresh.

Thank you AmericInn for accomodating us stranded motorists with such class. It was our first time, but certainly not our last.

We were in Laramie for the first time for the Nebraska-Wyoming football game and chose the Americinn Inn because of their rates and location. We were not disappointed. While it was not within walking distance to the University, it was nearby. The desk staff were friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions and gave us excellent recommendations for lunch and dinner. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quiet. Breakfast was good and there were a variety of choices. We also enjoyed the local newspapers. We only had one complaint and one recommendation. Our room did not have a towel rack. Instead there was a basket with the towels on the back of the toilet which you had to move to the floor in order to use the toilet. Our brother's room did have a towel rack and bars, so not sure why all the rooms aren't equipped this way and his was just across the hall and the same kind of room. A recommendation would be to have a 2nd chair in the room. The only chair is a desk chair and with two people in the room who want to read and watch TV, it is not convenient. We did get an additional chair brought into the room when we asked for it. Also the only wireless internet available is in the lobby but the rooms are hardwired for the internet and an ethernet cable is provided. All in all a great place to stay.

My husband and I just returned from a 3-week vacation trip to the west coast. We drove the southern route out to California/Oregon, but took our favorite route back, the northern route. Wednesday evening, 24 August 2011 a storm was brewing over the mountains as we approached Laramie, Wyoming. My husband was hesitant to have me drive further with dark quickly closing upon us, so we opted to find a decent motel/hotel in Laramie. To our great surprise, the Hampton & Comfort Inns were already booked to capacity. We had passed many billboards throughout Nevada, Utah and Wyoming advertising AmericInns, and decided to give their location in Laramie a try. That was the best decision on our part.
The AmericInn Lodge & Suites of Laramie, Wyoming is a most beautiful place to stay after a long, hard day's driving. From the moment we entered the front doors and walked into the very large, beautiful, lodge-like lobby, we felt at home. The desk clerk was warm, friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating. He willingly provided room sizes, prices, discounts, etc. to us without our having to ask. My husband is unable to drive due to health problems and so all driving is left to me alone. He knew that I was exhausted and decided to treat me to a beautiful king suite, well-appointed with a corner fireplace at one end, a jacuzzi that filled yet another end. Our room contained a large, flat-screen TV above the fireplace, very comfy sitting room area, separate desk area, dressing room, small kitchen, as well as a lovely and large bathroom. All for $145+tax (AAA discount). What a beautiful, relaxing evening to a day that had been filled with excessive miles of hard mountain driving, mile after mile of road construction and other delays. Our morning breakfast at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites of Laramie included several yogurt, cereal, juice, milk and bread choices, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. Definitely more than enough to satisfy any traveler.
And by the way, AmericInn Lodge & Suites are each built with great care. They are built with a great deal of special, added insulation that makes each room virtually sound proof. We didn't hear a sound from the moment we entered our beautiful king suite, and slept uninterrupted all night.
We would like to thank the staff and management of the AmericInn Lodge and Suites of Laramie, Wyoming, and recommend them to everyone traveling through that area. Their room rates are very reasonable for the wonderful amenities received, room sizes vary, you will find your stay a refreshing and lovely one, and again, an extremely helpful staff to await your every need. Give them a try.

Room Tip: Don't be afraid to ask for specials & discounts on larger rooms or suites.

This is a nice hotel- the room was clean. Three complaints:

-The bathtub and bathroom sink didn't drain well. Had to take a shower and a bath at the same time, which is never fun.

-The internet didn't work.

- The breakfast was actually not good at all. They had eggs and one other thing in the warmers, but they were actually COLD. No fresh fruit. Waffle makers and toasters, along with a couple bad pastries was all I can remember. Oh, and dry cereal.

I can't attest to the service one way or another. I didn't have time to have any of these items addressed or remedied by the hotel, as we arrived late and had two sleeping kids shortly after chek-in and we left early the next morning.

Might try the Hilton next time...
