My family travels through Laramie on a regular basis, on our visits up to Yellowstone. Therefore, we've stayed in several hotels in Laramie - some nice, some not so nice. This year, based on reviews here on Trip Advisor, we decided to try out the Hampton Inn.
We used our AAA discount and booked a room for July 19th, and then again July 30th - coming and going to Yellowstone. Both times, we were impressed with several things:
1. The spaciousness & decor of the lobby
2. Free cookies in the lobby upon arrival
3. Cleanliness of room
4. Variety of pillows on the bed to choose from
5. Free, easy internet access in the room
The breakfast buffet was okay - certainly not the best, as on our stay on July 30th, the hot offering was waffles, and sausages. There were biscuits - but no gravy. There was the usual cold cereal offerings, some danish, and fresh fruit.
So - on our next drive through Wyoming on our way up to Yellowstone, we'll certainly stay at the Hampton!More
