I've been to Lovejoy's several times and thought it was one of the better Laramie choices for basic American food. Nothing fancy, but the service was good and the food was decent. My most recent visit was disappointing, however, and in line with some of the more negative recent reviews. Service was S L O W notwithstanding that we arrived at 11:30 for lunch and the place was not very busy. The food was OK, but no better: fries limp, and Santa Fe Chicken salad lacking much punch. The burgers remained pretty good, however, according to my table-mates. So, perhaps it all depends on what you order. On the positive side, the service was certainly very pleasant, the wheat beer on tap was excellent, and, if you or your kids like looking at trains, there are few places better than this. My sense is I'll give this place one more try. If it's like it used to be, I'll keep coming; if it's like it was today, I'll look elsewhere.
