I enjoyed the Ahi Tuna Seared Sandwich and sweet potato fries. The appetizer of Pepper Jack Cheese sticks was very rich and fantastic! The atmosphere is very friendly and I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or passing thru!

We ate there on UW parents weekend. When we arrived without a reservation, we were told there would be a 35 minute wait. We were seated after about 30 minutes. The hostess appologize for the wait, which was really not an issue for us. Our waiter was new and inexperienced, and did a pretty good job taking care of us. Some of the night's specials were gone, but we all found something we liked. My wife's salmon was excellent! Our daughter was very happy with her sandwich. My chicken sandwich was ok. I'd certainly order something different the next time we eat there.

The yelp review from 8/29/12 I read of the restaurant while sitting down to eat was spot on. The food was great (albeit a bit pricey) but the waitresses shoes were apparently made out of lead and she didn't have a clue what the soups of the day were (among other things). Granted she had probably just come in for her shift since we were extreme early birds that day (3:30pm for dinner since we had a reception to be at from 5 to 9 that evening).

Great Atmosphere. We ordered the 8 beer sampler and a few appetizers (Crab Dip and Chicken Spring Rolls) $28. The beers were an interesting mix and impressive for a small Wyoming brewery. The server told us about each of the beers and checked back with us often. Both the appetizers were good. For a light meal and a night away from the motel room this was a good choice. So, take a break and enjoy a night out in the wild (or not) town of Laramie.

We arrived in Laramie after a six-hour drive and were craving a fullsome steak dinner. The Altitude was recommended by our hotel so we took a punt. On entering, the place was busy and had a really good bar-style vibe about it - until we were directed through a door into an adjacent room.
What a letdown! It was completely detached from the main area and had absolutely no character Rather, it was a sterile dining area with a few photos on the walls and a few tables and chairs.
Surely as a town with so much history and a great sporting tradition, the owners could capitalise on this and at least give this dining area a theme, some life?
If there was a saving grace, the young waitress was obliging and, most importantly, the steaks were terrific.
