This is a great bar and grill that offers good beer and food while you watch football games on their multi screens. Great service offered and good value for money

We recently visited this restaurant while in town for a volleyball tournament. We had reservations for the team but then showed up with about 7 extra people. Although they were very busy they were very accommodating. The food and service was excellent and very affordable.

Our from out of town family of six was cruising around downtown on a Sunday night, looking for something non-chain to eat and Roxie's was about the only place open.

Our expectations were properly adjusted, but we were very pleasantly surprised. We had mini burgers as an appetizer- less mini than we expected and very tasty. Then we shared three small pizzas, four cheese, roasted tomato and mozzarella, and the best, one with prosciutto and figs and honey. They were great, gourmet tasting pizzas.

I wish that we had read these reviews before eating here. First of all, the decor is this odd combination of downtown chic and staying true to the University of Wyoming. I'm a die hard UW fan, but it just didn't flow. The menu had quite a variety from sandwiches to entrees. I had the special of Macaroni and Cheese with Grilled Chicken. It came with an average sized side salad, but the little plastic cup with blue cheese dressing was barely 1/2 full. My boyfriend had the Clam Chowder and he said it had a very unique flavor, but he wasn't sold on it.

Then as other reviewers stated, we waited over 40 minutes for our meals. The table next to us walked in shortly after we ordered our meal and they received their food 10 minutes ahead of ours. And the most irritating part of waiting was having to swat the flies away. The door to the bar that opens to the street was propped open and the flies were a constant nuisance. The mac and cheese was okay. My boyfriend had the full rack of BBQ Ribs and did not care for them. On the way home, both of us experienced an "unsettled" stomach. I rarely give a poor review, but I wish that I would've spent my money elsewhere.
