I checked around all over town and this place had the best rates. The room was new with flat screen tv, new bed and new bathroom. The only drawback was the room was very tiny. I am also not a big fan of the new hard floors hotels seem to be using more of lately, but they are probably more sanitary. Getting into the parking lot can seem like a major pain in the dark and guided by GPS. It takes you around several blocks and nearly a mile away before working your way back towards the hotel. Later I noticed you can get right in by cutting through the left side of the Ramada Inn's parking lot. Overall this is the best value in the area and is also a clean hotel with friendly staff.

I was drawn to this hotel by other reviews and the price (even with an internet access charge). Although it is far from a luxury hotel, the value for money is outstanding. My room was small, but had been renovated and looked more stylish (and colorful) than many more expensive hotels. The room was very clean and the walk-in shower (but no tub) a bonus. There is a small but decent work area with sufficient electrical outlets. The bed was quite comfortable, Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for improvement is that the blankets (attractively color coordinated with the room) were a bit thin and small. And the pillows were pathetic (thin and lumpy). However, I slept well and would certainly consider another stay here.

The location initially was questionable, however, the hotel was relatively quiet with plenty of parking for our 3 U-Haul trucks and trailers. The best part was the cleanliness!! The rooms were recently remodeled and I think it's brilliant that the carpeting was removed and replaced with hardwood like flooring. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

I have stayed @ this motel 6 plenty,& it has always been fine.this stay, however, was awful!!!! Alex, the little cocky front desk person should be fired! We searched for a 1 bedroom suite in ft Collins & couldn't find one for our party because all were full so we moved on to Laramie,w/ me being sick w/ a cold.we called Alex @ the front desk from ft Collins & he was incredibly rude, correcting us on how long it takes us to get to laramie (I have lived in Wyoming 7 yrs,I know how long it takes from ft Collins to Laramie),inticing us on why we requested adjoining rooms for our party,& then quoting us $73 TOTAL for the adjoining rooms for the night.when we arrived,he quoted us a total of $118,& we pointed out we were quoted $73 & he got snide w/ us & said "yeah per room",but yet our folio stated $59 per room.he remained snide w/ us .Alex is a disgrace to the motel 6 chain,& we will be complaining to the manager, corporate,& requesting a refund for the difference on what we were quoted for our rooms.& also,Laramie Wyoming is freezing....my room shouldn't be! I was sick w/ a cold,my water for my shower was Luke warm,& the room I was in in the adjoining rooms was frigid! There was a cold draft & the heater did not work good. I'm extremely disappointed in this stay.i won't be staying here again.this hotel is a digrace to the motel 6 chain

This is one of the locations that has the new decor upgrade. LCD TV, new beds, etc. For all those complaining about the price, Laramie hotels are just a bit more expensive, especially during football season. The Motel 6 is still the most reasonable priced place in the area. The room was clean, the staff friendly, and the noise from the railroad was not that bad. Some people just like to complain. This is a fine choice for a budget motel.

We were just passing through and needed a place to stay. It was fine for what we needed it for, but I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay. It was comfortable and modern at a reasonable price, but no indoor pool, no hot tub, and no breakfast. We were happy with our experience here and would recommend it to others who just need a place to stay while passing through.

Yes, we realize that this is a 'budget' motel, and motels throughout Wyoming - in general, are few and expensive, but $73 for what you get is ridiculous! We usually avoid Motel 6, but this one had some good reviews - our mistake! Upon check-in, we were led to believe there were very few rooms left, that a couple of large groups were coming in later. To our knowledge, this was not true, as the parking lot never was even near full, and saw no buses. Everything in the room was very cheap - no mini-fridge, microwave, facial tissues, breakfast, etc. (as expected), and had to pay extra for internet access. The beds were lumpy, and to beat all - one of the beds had two fitted sheets - the cleaning crew had used a fitted sheet for the top sheet!! The train noise was OK, as we both like the sound of trains going by. Found hair in bathroom and, although the linoleum flooring may look clean, dirt can really gather in the crevices - better to use smooth linoleum. One plus - good flat-screen TV. Not really a good place near to eat, except a truck stop. Would not stay here again!
