we had a great stay at this lodge. the staff very friendly and the coziness was wonderful!! can't wait to stay here again! Also there was a restaurant right across the street .. I can't remember the name but it was very good also. In the morning they have a huge breakfast with anything you could want!

Room Tip: I upgraded to a suite and so glad I did.. Love it!! When I find my pictures I will post them

My wife and I stayed here from March 11-20, skiing at Jackson Hole (and one epic powder day at Grand Targhee), and have almost nothing but good things to say. The Lodge operates a free, twice-daily shuttle to and from the Jackson Hole Ski Resort - going up at 8.15 and 9.15 AM and returning 3.30 and 4.45 PM. The city bus also stops directly in front of the lodge, so if you need to get up on the mountain early, as we did several days, or if you want to go up for drinking and dining, it will cost you $3 each way and the buses run from about 5 AM to 11 PM. The lodge also offers free airport pickup and drop-off, and has an in-town shuttle service that will drop you off and pick you up anywhere you want to go in town, usually with no more than 10 minutes' waiting time, so there is absolutely no need to rent a car. They also arranged a day trip to Grand Targhee, again with pickup and drop off at the lodge, and for $99 per person inclusive of transport and lift ticket it is a great bargain.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, the cleaners did a good job, the front desk staff and drivers were all helpful and friendly. Abby, the Front Desk Manager, Alex, (the assistant manager?), and Hane (one of the drivers) stood out, but everyone was great. The Moulton and Brown toiletries were a nice touch. The Jackson Hole Daily is available free in the lobby and is pretty good for a small town paper.

We had a few minor complaints:

1. The hot tubs did not strike us as terribly clean, and after our first experience we did not use them again.
2. Internet connectivity, though free, was painfully slow.
3. It would be preferable, and environmentally more sound, to offer ceramic coffee cups at breakfast instead of (or in addition to) paper ones.
4. The breakfast buffet, though reasonably good, was a bit monotonous. It would be very welcome if, instead of packets of instant flavored oatmeal, they offered a pot of properly cooked oatmeal and/or other hot cereal, and a better selection of whole-grain breads would also be welcome.

All in all, though, my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the service the Lodge offered, and will almost certainly stay there again on future visits to JH/

Everything was as advertised. Transportation completely sufficient to make renting a car unnecessary, saving us $$. They have a courtesy car/shuttle that takes you to town, and another that serves the Teton Village area. Even if you miss the free Lodge shuttle to the ski mountain, the town of Jackson has the START buses which will take you for $3. Staff was friendly, accommodating. The included breakfast was superb, with bacon, eggs, OJ, fresh fruit, cereal, Starbucks coffees, Tazo teas, bagels, yogurt, etc. Totally positive experience. The experience is definitely worth more than the premium that it would cost to stay "ski in/ski out" at Teton Village.

Had a great experience at The Lodge with my son. We looked at a number of hotels prior to making the trip. The courtesy car, airport shuttle and Teton Village transfers were great. Staff was super available, approachable and knowledgeable. Facilities and appointments were fine. Nicely appointed renovation recently completed. Clean. Quiet. And the guests respected the place. Well managed.

Awesome little hotel near downtown Jackson. Close to the main attractions, restaurants, shops and bars. Just at the border of Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. Rooms are clean and comfortable, nice continental breakfast. Good service and friendly staff.

I lodged at this hotel for an 8 night ski vacation stay as one of a party of five adults (three standard King rooms). We were all very pleased with the updated and spacious rooms, plush furnishings, and especially the hot breakfast each morning.

The included breakfast had scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon which were great hot offerings, and there was also a choice of granola and cereals, yogurt, bagels, a massive bowl of strawberries and blueberries, as well as an abundance of hot coffee and disposable cups for on-the-go caffeine.

There is a tip jar near the kitchen. I observed two women doing all food prep, dish clearing, and handwashing. Folks: show your appreciation for their amazing spread and hard work with a tip. It is truly deserved! You will have a satisfied and warm belly for hours to come to prove it.

The bus to the JH ski resort is frequent and a good value. The hotel complimentary town shuttle is as accommodating as one driver with one vehicle can be. Contrary to the reviewer from NY, they are not your personal chauffeur and strive to accommodate dozens of guests with one vehicle. We were given the driver's cell phone and although airport transfers got priority, we were well accommodated served with courtesy in spite of their high demand. We did $1 per person each way as a gratuity for the driver. They were always appreciative.

For winter/ski season: Excellent Choice!

We were so impressed by the amenities for a hotel at this price point. The best amenity was the shuttle service; they will pick you up and drop you off pretty much wherever and whenever. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel without breaking the bank.
