We decided to ring in the new year in Jackson Hole, WY. We randomly picked this hotel and booked the trip. It turned out to be a great decision! The room was comfortable and quiet. We never heard people in the halls or through the walls at night (we stayed on the 2nd floor). The shower was walk in with a rain and a regular showerhead. The mini fridge and Keurig were nice to have. We were able to walk to restaurants and use the bus stop out front to get around town. They offered a shuttle to and from the hotel from the airport and a shuttle for skiers to JH mountain (not sure about others, we only went to JH). The breakfast every morning was awesome and offered many different items (eggs, yogurt, fruit, toast, bagels, cereals, muffins, pastries, etc.). Dustin ran us to Kmart for some items (courtesy shuttle) and Marty brought us to the hotel (after our plane was delayed 2 hours and we got in way later than expected). Both of them were very helpful on where to eat and what to do in Jackson Hole. One of the women working the desk was very helpful with maps and explaining how to get places. The staff was very professional. The only real issue we had was the heat. Even when we turned the thermometer down to 62, it was still too hot and we ended up turning on the air conditioner. We meet some other people staying at the hotel that were from Miami, FL and they opened their window and turned on the a/c, so maybe it's just us southerners?! There was one issue with the shuttle, so you should know that you need to book your airport transfers with the hotel beforehand and understand their shuttle boundaries (JH only). Also, it's "first come" to use it. We had plans in Grand Teton NP and decided to rent a car for one day to do that (taxi = $30 each way) and just return it when we left the next day. With that said, we bumped our flight and ended up being put up at the Snow King Resort, so I was able to stay in two different places on the trip.

We are glad to hear that you are pleased with your vacation here with us. Jackson has so much to offer and our bellstaff definitely love to share their favorite spots with guests. Being too warm in the winter is definitely a new one for us, but always better than being too cold! :)
If you are ever back in our area we would love for you to stay with us again!

My family stayed here over New Years for a quick ski trip and this place suited our needs perfectly. Even while staying over New Year's our room was restfully quiet. For us, it was nice to stay in town and drive up to the ski hill, so that we could walk into town for dinner and explore the town a bit (there was a ski shuttle but we opted to drive so we could stay for apres ski and not stress about missing the shuttle).

My girls really enjoyed the hot tubs and pool, although I'd have liked the hot tubs to be a little hotter.

Our room was great- very clean, comfy beds, beautiful bedding. The rooms were fairly large and it was nice having the extra sofa/sitting area to set up for playing games. The bathroom was big, too - which helps when there are 3 females simultaneously drying hair and applying makeup!

I was pleased that breakfast included a wide variety of fresh fruits as well as the standard scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, cereals, granola, toast. The breakfast staff worked really hard to make sure that all of the choices were constantly being replenished and kept the eating area cleared and spotless.

The front desk and bell staff were also very friendly and eager to help and were very forthcoming with dining suggestions and tips for getting the most out of our ski trip.

One fun thing that we did after skiing was to drive through the National Elk Preserve, where we spotted elk, trumpeter swan, coyotes, big horn sheep and moose - all within 10 minutes and right on the edge of town. My kids loved this, especially the big horn sheep.

We loved skiing at JHMR - a wide variety of terrain, beautiful snow, incredible views - and will be back, for sure!

Thank you for staying with us on your recent trip to Jackson. We certainly agree that our location in town is convenient to get to the ski hill while still being close to the town square for great dining and shopping options. We strive to make each guests visit as great as it can be. The Elk Refuge is always a wonderful place for wildlift spotting. We hope that you will choose us when you return to the area in the future!

We drove up to meet friends who were staying in Teton Village. We were very pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel is. The room was nicely appointed. The only downside with room 100 was that it was close to the ski lockers. It was noisy in the evening and in the morning when people were getting fitted for skis and boots.

We enjoyed breakfast. It was tasty with a lot of choice. The driver that drove the complimentary shuttle to Jackson Hole stopped to show us a moose on the way to the mountain. He shared lots of interesting information about moose and local history on the way to and from the mountain.

Finally, they offered a late check out without our even asking. We would stay here again.

Thank you for staying here at The Lodge. We are happy to hear it was to your liking. That locker area can get a little hectic during the busy holiday season, sorry about that. We hope that does not deter you from staying with us again in the future, as we would love to have you back!

Lets just be clear up front - this hotel and it's staff are awesome!!!!

We chose Lodge at Jackson Hole for our first White Christmas in 10 years and it was an awesome place to stay for Christmas. (and yes there was fresh snow on the ground!)

Hotel: New, clean, excellent ambiance, nice eating area, great cozy bar area, excellent TV. Rooms are quiet and provide a great night sleep. Loved the fire place.

People: Abby and her staff were awesome. Responded to questions and concerns with a smile. Van drivers very helpful and prompt. Cleaning staff did a great job. What's not to love?

I cannot say enough about the quality for the value and the professionalism of the staff, this hotel gets thumbs up for all. The location is perfect for going in different directions each day, with a nice steak house next door.

Room Tip: Request New Wing Fire Place Suite. Book early for the best rates (like 90 days or more - we did i...

The rooms are very well appointed - lush beds, hardwood desks, couch and GIANT TILE SHOWER. The importance of a huge warm comfortable shower after a long cold day is impossible to overstate. The massive HD TV is nice too.

You're about 1 mile from the town square and 20 minutes from the airport. There's a free shuttle but it has limited hours.

Avoid he first floor, as ski rentals provide in-hotel fittings in a ski locker (great idea, really, and convenient) and the pool and jacuzzi get a lot of traffic.

The free breakfast is impressive with eggs, bacon, bagels, granola, yogurt and lots of fresh fruit.

We snowboarded at Jackson Mountain Resort and stayed at the Lodge in Jackson. Super friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, newly remodeled, nice breakfast.

The hotel is really nice and there is room to spread out in the lobby or dining area if you need it during the day or evening. Really convenient and close to everything, just a quick 15 minutes to the Ski Resort which at first we were concerned about, but it was so easy it made no difference.

Indoor / outdoor pool, indoor spa, outdoor hot tub, and indoor sauna were all great. Again, everyone was friendly and helpful and the hotel was really really nice without being up tight or snobby. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Modern rooms, comfortable beds, nice towels, great selection of soaps and items left in the room, SUPER FAST internet, excellent electronics and crystal clear cable TV. I had to work in the afternoons and evenings and the internet was fantastic. At most hotels this is always a problem, but not here.

Compliments to the owners and staff for a fantastic product and really just doing things right.

Room Tip: We stayed close to the lobby and we could walk out and enjoy the fireplace and common areas. thoug...

This location is about 15 minute free shuttle ride from the airport and 20-25 minutes to Teton ski mountain on the bus that the hotel provides. The bus runs every 30 minutes so if you are pressed for time and don't want to wait on the bus, rent a car. The breakfast is comprehensive and has a little bit of everything. The half day lift tickets is $77 and use D2D ski rental that delivers and picks up at your hotel. The hot tub is a great separate addition to the hotel that includes a pool and sauna. There were 5 of us in a room and the hotel does not have rooms with 2 restrooms so if you are traveling in a group you should probably get 2 rooms. The room was large and cozy and the premise was extremely clean daily. The staff was wonderful everyone was accommodating and extremely nice. The hotel decor is very unique so take time to explore the interior and exterior. For the location, staff, and price it is worth it. Eat breakfast/brunch at Persphoney and Cafe Geneive and eat lunch at the Mangy Moose and Alpenholf Bistro and lastly have dinner at Sidewinders and The Kitchen AMAZING places.
