“Great place to stay in Jackson...lots of amenities”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

Stayed here for five nights during a trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons. Very nice property with a lot of amenities. Rooms have been remodeled so the bathroom has a big, walk-in shower and new marble counters. Bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Extra benefits are the free Wifi, refrigerator in the room (empty, not a mini-bar), and the free breakfast. All the staff were very nice and helpful with restaurant suggestions and activity recommendations. Free shuttle was nice as well.

Room Tip: Ice machine on my floor was near the elevator so try and get away from the elevator for more peace a...

We stayed here from Sept. 19-23. We had a king suite. It was beautifully decorated and very cozy and comfortable. The location was close to the downtown area, but not in it. It is about a two hour drive to Yellowstone, but minutes away from Grand Teton Park. Loved the Keurig in the room and all the places to hook up phones and computers! Very firm comfy bed. Bathroom was great with large travertine shower and upscale toiletries. Breakfast was pretty good. Our room was not tended to until rather late in the day, usually around 3:30. We woke up and left early each morning in order to avoid crowds and catch wildlife better. As a result we were worn out by mid afternoon and had to hang out elsewhere until our room was cleaned each day. This is my only complaint. Next time I'd find out which rooms got cleaned first and ask for one of them! We really loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

THis hotel was recently renovated and it was very well done. Great breakfast in the morning, free Starbucks all day long, indoor/outdoor pool with hot tubs & sauna were excellent. Lots of amenities! Double queen room was very good size, accommodated family of 5. It's a little too far of walk into Jackson town but a very short drive. Located on a weird side street with no scenery.

Exceeded our expectations! Very well-appointed rooms. The bathroom was especially grand with top-notch surfaces and magnificent shower. Bed was wonderful and large screen TV was nice. Great food selection at breakfast with plenty of hot and cold choices.

We booked our 4-night stay in September at The Lodge in Jackson Hole in April 2013 requesting a room with a nice view. When we were picked up at the airport, we were greeted by "Corey" a very pleasant young man who gave us a little background of the area and Lodge. Corey gave us advice as to where to eat and some of the activities going on, like a wonderful Art Auction on the weekend. The lodge's "shuttle service" is well-run, on-time and the vehicle (a Cadillac Escalade) was clean, quiet, and comfortable.
Adrian booked us into our room (341) which overlooked a parking lt, industrial storage units and businesses, and a few trash bins----not what we had expected. We asked for a room change and the next room we were given was (256) across from the maid service storage room. When the cleanup crews were working it was quite noisey, fortunately we were gone most of the time during 9am and 5pm so the hallway noise wasn't too bad.
Otherwise the room, breakfast, shuttle service, front office staff were all very adequate and to our satisfaction.

Room Tip: Demand a room away from the maid staff, elevator, pool & spa AND with a view of the mountains, n...

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are spacious and clean, there is a free buffet breakfast every morning, free Starbucks coffee all day long in the lobby, a nice pool and hot tub, and a laundry room, which I did use. The location is near the Snow King mountain, where they had horse back riding and chair lifts up to the top, both of which we did. The rodeo is right nearby, too, which was a great night out for our family. The hotel is not too far from town, but you will probably want to drive in. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant was friendly and efficient, and made us feel right at home.

The rooms at this hotel are newly renovated (2012) and they are beautiful. The location is great, just outside of the main town, close to the entrance to the Grand Teton National Park so we could avoid the traffic of downtown every morning when we were heading into the park. There was a lot of traffic in town, probably because of the road construction going on and add to that the normal commuter times of day. We were glad to be off the beaten path a little.

The breakfast in the morning is good...the typical continental fare; breads and bagels to toast, muffins and pastries, cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt and then 3 hot items; eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes. Juices, coffee and tea are also available.

We took advantage of the laundry facilities which were a nice thing to have so we didn't have to pack as much for our trip. We didn't have the opportunity to use the pool but it looked very nice.

The staff was pleasant and helpful with dining recommendations. The hotel seems a bit pricey for a Best Western but considering it's in Jackson (pretty much everything is expensive), and that it's not your typical BW, it was worth it.

Room Tip: There really are no "views" at this location so don't get your heart set on a "mo...

Thanks for such a nice review and for choosing The Lodge at Jackson Hole as your home base. After our complete renovation in 2012 we parted ways with the Best Western brand and are now a family owned independent hotel. We are very happy that you like what we've done with the place and we hope to see you again soon!
