“Spectacular views from bedroom”
Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

We travelled with friends from Denver on a trip that took in Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone, Gran Tetons and came across Jackson Hole. Loved the area and found your glorious hotel, was only intending to stay one night but stayed two so we could explore area more. Hotel was amazing, oh and I so loved the bears. They must be the most photographed bears around. Rooms were excellent, staff couldn't be more helpful, especially advising us on where to eat etc and walks. Breakfast was first class, for us four who were on the move and wanted to see as much as possible in the time we had. We were on our way to Las Vegas via Salt Lake City aNd Grand Canyon over a three week trip from UK. At the end of our hols we always pick out the best of:- and your hotel came out top. We couldn't fault in any way. Carry on the good work and we so hope to visit again one day. X

Very nice hotel, particularly for the money.

Very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were good (and varied in size). A big plus, for me: you can make the room dark.

The Air Conditioning worked. The refrigerator was very nice. The TV was a good size. The decor was lovely, throughout the hotel. The bears are becoming famous, but don't forget the moose and cougar in the lobby.

The bathroom fixtures all worked fine, and the bathroom was large and clean. Water saver shower, but you're in an arid area - embrace it.

Plenty of outlets for chargers. Plus, if you have an iPhone 4 or earlier, there is a charger in the room built into the alarm clock. Very handy.

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit served nice and cold, nice eggs and breakfast meats, cereals, bagels, etc. A complete spread, starting at 0600. There's a tip jar - you should drop a few dollars into it. They peel that fruit by hand...

Given the cost of feeding a family in Jackson, "taking up" at breakfast is a great way to save money.

Starbucks coffee available in the lobby at all times, right next to the computers that you can use to check your Google-Map route and print it - for free.

Nice indoor-outdoor pool, with two hot-tubs (one indoor; one outdoor). Good exercise room.

The staff were consistently nice and helpful. We had drinks at the bar on our last evening there and the bartender was very nice. We worked with a woman named Abby (I think) at the front desk and she, too, was really helpful.

All around this is a great hotel for a family traveling to Jackson.

Room Tip: Second floor. You can use the main stairway, yet still be away from the main lobby.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review of the property. Those bears are definitely becoming famous! So many people at about them (John the Bearman can be googled for more info). We hope you can make it back in the future and stay with us again.

We stayed here for 4 nights while in town for a wedding and sightseeing. We were very happy with the hotel. The location was great as it is close to town but outside the hustle and bustle of town. The breakfast was fantastic, with many options. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Lodge. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is just a fantastic value! I can't believe all the items they had for an included breakfast. We stayed here for 4 nights and were very comfortable the whole time. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Lodge for the last two nights of a week-long family trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. After a long week of traveling throughout the parks, it was a relaxing, centrally located hotel. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the area. It is outside of the historic downtown area, but they do have a shuttle service that will run you anywhere you want or need to go and our group used it frequently. They also have a great indoor/outdoor pool, two hot tubes and sauna that the kids and adults loved after many hours in the car touring the parks. The free breakfast in the morning was perfect to get the day started and they always had complimentary coffee available. The room service menu is limited, but more than adequate and timely for small late evening meals. If you are headed to Jackson, I recommend The Lodge and we will be back when in the Jackson Hole area.

We are glad that you found our Lodge relaxing and centrally located. The pool area is wonderful and many guests linger there in the evenings. Our staff is always available to plan activities or to take guests into town - it's just a short drive from the Lodge to the town square. Thank you for recommending us to others.

We stayed here for a family trip. We booked this hotel based on reviews here. From the minute we arrived, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The front desk staff made check in a breeze while the bellman helped with the luggage to the rooms.

Once in the room, the bellman brought all the luggage in and gave us a quick tour of the room features. The rooms are fantastic and newly renovated. Beautiful wood work, nice modern bathroom and comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. The desk features extra plugs for charging and video inputs for the huge flat screen TV. The decor of the rooms if elegant and warm. The mini refrigerator and microwave are a nice touch. This was called the double queen mini suite.

The hot breakfast buffet is perfect to start the morning and includes eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, bagels, cereals and fruits. Unlimited juice and coffee are also self serve. Don't wait to be seated, find an open table and start eating.

The location is a few short blocks to town square which is quick car ride but possibly too far to walk.

The only reason why I can't give this five stars is the some minor bathroom pet peeves......build up of dust in the ceiling vent. This just needs a quick vacuuming and the shower head isn't powerful enough. With such a modern bathroom, these two issues don't make sense and should not even be a problem.

The pool is a nice touch. Indoor and outdoor pool along with a soaking tub and hot tub. The gym is small but for a quick run or bike ride, it will do.

If you don't mind staying out of down town then this is a great choice.

What a great review! Thank you for taking the time to detail your experience. We apologize for missing the ceiling vent in the bathroom. I will be sure to follow up with my housekeeping staff. And I will have my maintenance personnel take a look at the shower heads since we usually don't have issues with water pressure. We hope to see you again the next time that you are in the Jackson area.
