“Good beer and bad food.”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

I had the Elk burger and some beers at this restaurant in October. The beers are tasty but the burger was tasteless and the bun was musty. The fries were cold and flavored with a large amount of red spices. The only thing you could taste was the red spices.

So go there for a beer but give you self a favor and go somewhere else for food.

“Great beer”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

Of the various western brews we sampled on this trip, the OB-1 and Zonker were our favorite. We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and unique sausage sampler.

“Excellent beer, Stale pretzels refunded”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Our family of five was quickly seated and had a friendly upbeat waitress. The beer was tasty and it would be worth the trip just for the beer. My wife really enjoyed their IndiaPaleAles. I had a trio of game sausages which I wouldn't particularly recommend. We also started with warm pretzels which were inedible. The waitress told us they had severlal complaints about the last batch of pretzels, so this may be an aberation. She refunded them. The other meals were OK, but not fantastic. For Jackson the meals were reasonably priced. I would return and try other things on the menu, but mostly go for the beer.

“good variety and casual”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

We ate there 2 times on this trip and enjoyed both meals. My husband loves to try different beers and he wasn't disappointed. We had pizza and salad the first visit which was delicious after a day of hiking. Second visit, had the chili which was excellent. My husband had the elk burger which was a bit on the dry side but he just loved the spice on the french fries which made up for the burger.

“Delicious end to a great vacation”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

Actual visit was late July 2011. Fabulous food, very fun evironment. I ordered the Mac N Cheese (they asked if I wanted the adult version LOL). It was so delicious. My son and husband both ordered burgers which were devoured as well. We had fun after dinner looking at all of the bumper stickers on the giant beer vat in the parking lot. Entertaining! This was the last night of our family vacation to Yellowstone/Tetons before our son met up with his boy scouts to go to Philmont for two more weeks.
